Great question! My iPads are both 5th Gen iPad Pros with cellular and wifi. The brand new iPad pros have the front-facing camera on the side, so I wouldn't recommend that as most iPad booth enclosures/software is made for use with the front facing camera at the top of the tablet. Otherwise, lighting and camera settings are your next best bet when it comes to quality.
