I don't think many of these sketches were actually drawn by Miss Head personally but by her sketch artists. Most notably Grace Sprague. As head of the costume department she was probably much too busy to actually sit and sketch. She would okay the finished design and sign it.
Wow the sketches were so bold and exquisite. These creations are too pretty. It's something to gaze upon
Works of art. Edith has Ana amazing light touch
She is still unsurpassed 🦋💥😍
Love getting lost in her designs. Thank you also for the Vertigo theme. 🎵
Edith Head is amazing
LOVE LOVE LOVE her designs!!!!
That's, the music from Vertigo. All, of these are nice!
Thanks for the video. It would have been a tad better if all the sketches were titled for what movies they were created for thou.
Yeah, that's true!
U Sheilan A lot of the sketches have the name of the actress and the movie written on them in Edith Head’s handwriting....
Wonderful! Each drawing is magic!
So beautiful!!! Thank you for the video.
She captures the personal line of many individuals. See the sketches marked Joan or Bette for example
Brilliant designer.
BREATHLESS!...*SIGH*🤯💋❣
Bob Mackie was a sketch artist for Edith Head.
Love Bob Mackie have tons of his clothes. I collect them now.
wonderful video of her fantastic creations; many I could see in my minds eye from the film.
The last picture is not Edith Head. It is, rather, a lady who tours paying homage to the late great Edith Head. I believe her name is Susan Claassen.
Beautiful
astonishing
Thank you for making this video 😄

I would imagine Edith would sketch the leading lady designs and let the team work on the rest of cast as you describe
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
so dated lol no one would wear it
I hope you're kidding. These aren't street clothes. They're costumes designed to match the personalities of movie characters in period piece films.
