It is not often that we can truly say, "So sad, she died way too soon!" about a 99 year old woman.
True. No one has said so.
Almost every one would choose to live 3 weeks longer if they could. But for Betty we all needed those 3 weeks. We needed to celebrate her together.
Very true...
@Demon Slayer why is it always ignorant young folks being rude to there elders ?
@Demon Slayer God bless you, but please be nicer
As a former census worker, I can confirm this as fact.
Truzyxx yep
A crotch massager .... that's a first
What states were y’all a census worker in?
@Truzyxx I just signed on as a census worker yesterday so I clicked on this video to see what I would face. 😂☺
My wife was a census taker in the 2000 census.
It's hard to believe she's gone. She was a class act. She seemed like those people who never tried to be funny and just had a natural knack for it.
@@IHateGuysFullofShit Please don't refer to her as a "Bitch". And while she was old, she was close to 100. You never give thought to these things. She was an American icon and contributed to cinema for decades.
@@kingeddy1645 Hard to believe shes gone at 99?

“There’s really no way of knowing.” She slays me every. Single. Time. “Ascertain…that used to be my stripper name.”
Hi how’re you doing?
Believe it or not, I was an extra on the Golden Girls in 1987 and the only star to go out of their way to be super friendly and ask all about me...where I was from, how long in LA, etc., was Betty White. So rest assured, she is exactly as wonderful in person as she seems on screen.
Very nice to know...my fav tv show Golden Girls. 👍🏽👍🏽💖
She is The Queen.
Not surprising at all. Bea Arthur wasn't known for being warm and fuzzy. Betty, on the other hand, is liked by pretty much everyone worldwide.
what episode/ scene were you in?

Betty White is a National Treasure.
She really is!!!
@Chawnderl - And, Tina Fey is a national treasure in the making.
Chawndel , and that’s why she can say just about anything and everyone laughs it out . On the other hand you try to even sta that sentence , and the cops will be called on you , trie it !

@@georgewendle7467 that’s certainly an opinion, lol
@@georgewendle7467 You didn't think that skit was funny as Hell? Maybe you didn't understand it.
This sketch alone, demonstrates why Betty White was so adored as a comedy icon. It isn't just the way she says things but her innocent demeanour that belies a michievous sense of humour and her deadpan expressions. She could outshine any comedy heavyweight. Truly a unique lady and talent. Miss you already Betty, although you will always be Rose to me. RIP.xx
Skit
I first became acquainted to this comedic genius through the Golden Girls. I watched Mary Tyler Moore when I was growing up but had forgotten that she had acted in that show as well.
The passing of legend and era by any description for sure.
Betty White was a heavyweight, probably still is.
Wow! What a way to find out she is dead... from your comment... devastating! I was just watching her old skits to celebrate her 100th season.... may her soul rest in peace!
She was great in Boston Legal.
Her "innocent mischievousness" really played well for her role as Catherine Piper...
For that role, she really brought a new definition to "dead pan"...😅🤣😂😉
*Spoiler* ; look up "Lincoln Meyer"...😏
I didn't search for this video, but I'm glad it found me.

Hearing Betty White’s voice still brings back my childhood memories of my mom watching The Golden Girls, etc. She was a great actress, comedian and activist. I love how she refused to take Arthur Duncan off her show and her blunt response to the racist criticism. May she rest in eternal peace. ❤️💐
Hearing Betty White's voice brings back memories of me watching Match Game in the early to late 1970s with my mom. And The Mary Tyler Moore show. It's so interesting how to me, by the time The Golden Girls came in TV, I couldn't recall a time without Betty White entertaining us with her gray wit and prefect comedic timing: by the time she played Rose, I thought how cool it was that these four women were given roles in their "old age" (I'm their age now!). Hahaha!
How fortunate to have these wonderful memories with our moms. Betty White used many innuendos on Match Game, but was never raunchy or dirty. Always funny and with the most beautiful smile on her face.
Have you seen the Betty White bloopers from Hot In Cleveland? I only saw one episode of that show, but I'll tell you what, Betty White's bloopers reel in one of the funniest (about...) 20 minutes I've ever seen from TV... tied with Tim Conway & Harvey Coreman 's Dentist Sketch from The Carol Burnette Show... oh! And also tied with Gilda Radner and Candice Bergen's Saturday Night sketch from the first (or second?) season, where Gilda is talking about dumb people of the country. I own the tapes. Candace blows her line, and Gilda saves the sketch, but Candice can't stop laughing!!
😂
@@BHAKTIBROPHY Yes the Hot bloopers were HYSTERICAL.
I still watch Match Game & Password practically everyday on BUZZR TV. If I had cable I could probably watch GG and Hot.
As being a former temporary Census worker, I wish I could have run into someone like Betty White. She was amazing! As they say, "They broke the mold when she came along"

@@AvatarJunior it's mostly the randomness of Betty white thinking she is reading off a drinking menu and that Pacific Islander could in fact sound like a fancy cocktail like Pina Colada
Betty White was a true legend and will be forever missed
I loved her cute, happy sweaters on the Golden Girls and her love for animals that shined through the show. She was a dynamic, striking woman and she always makes me smile.
We knew this day would come eventually but it's still so sad to imagine a world without her. My heart goes out to her nearest and dearest and to the world of television: they've just lost her queen.
@R J didn't make you smile, didn't make you laugh. She got a lot more out of the journey, as did 99.9999% of the commenters here too shared.
R J I guess you're too young. Shame. I suggest checking out some episodes of golden girls, Mary Tyler Moore or even Hot in Cleveland if you want to go more modern. Betty was a legend, maybe if you were more familiar with her you'd think different.
R.I.P. Betty White
@R J ur a literal loser
@R J your a loser because she’s dead nobody cares about your stupid irrelevant opinion the only one who needs help is a loser who waits for her to die to give their unwarranted opinion of an icon who’s made way more impact on the world than ur tiny, microscopic waste of life ever could

SNL hasn’t been funny for decades. If Betty was on the ratings would skyrocket, but it wouldn’t last long since the writers are terribly unfunny. Betty would have to ad lib every single time she was on.

@@5610winston Yeah it was definitely a weird ending but the rest was great
This is one comedian that I can never get tired of seeing. Being older than some here, my introduction to Betty White came when she played Sue-Ann Nivens, 'The Happy Homemaker'. My entire family rarely watched television shows together. 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show' was one of them, along with 'The Carol Burnett Show', "The Bob Newhart Show" and later 'Rhoda'. When my mother was out of the room my dad would explain Sue-Ann's dirty jokes to me. My dad was bipolar, but went undiagnosed until a few months before he died, so I had a confusing, mostly unhappy childhood. Watching those shows are among my happiest memories of our family together. Betty White will always have a special place in my heart.
I k ow. She is one of those that have been in our homes all of our lives!

Yeah same here I was born and grew up in the 1960's in Minnesota mostly in Minneapolis actually I'm living back here now.
I used to love the Mary Tyler Moore show.
I feel better, I first fell in love with her on the MTM Show as well. I was a precocious child, so I understood her dirty jokes. She was hysterical 🤣 and I loved her even more on Password. The only thing that keeps me from breaking down completely is that she's reunited with her beloved husband, Allen Ludden. May they both SIH
My parents wouldn't tell me what the dirty jokes meant. Now in heaven Betty, Ted, Mary, Phyllis, and Valerie are laughing together over all those great scenes they gave to us.
Betty White is clearly the coolest human to have ever lived.
