@@TheSuperNats It's Bane's most quoted meme. "Big guy" "For you."
No its not its stupid and a joke
"Do you feel in charge?" one of the most sinister lines in movie history.
I was wondering which would break first - your spirit, or your body!
Such a great film, Bane has so many quotable lines
@MIDDO man that whole scene 🔥
And he rests his hand on his shoulder gently
@MIDDO how Hollywood, imagine standing around to absorb all that 😅
“You fight like a younger man, with nothing held back. Admirable but mistaken.”
That's the line that sold me on Hardy's Bane. The way he compliments Batman's skill before ultimately winning the fight with the back break
Victory has defeated you
The ongoing commentary provided by Bane was very effective in getting into his opponent’s head, similar to Ali talking to Foreman and destroying him mentally, then physically. It’s not easy to talk and fight at the same time.
Hey
When Gotham is in ashes, then you have my permission to die.
I don't believe a human being could watch that movie and not do a Bane impression

High risk, high reward.
Bane had that intimidating ultimate apex predator aura, like the best super villains. You immediately realize he's a worthy adversary for anyone.
He's also chemically enhanced by his gas cocktail to break concrete
And batman
He scared tf outa me tbh when I first saw him and he kept killing everybody he met hahahahhahaa.
Except catwoman on the bike
I swear Tom Hardy could play a rock and it be believable.
The best thing about this is Christopher Nolan taking the actor's idea and giving it a go. It demonstrates his trust in the actor understanding the character.
In this case Nolan should’ve said no.
That's why he works with the same people/actors pretty consistently.. the rapport on set must be tremendous
@@smellywaffels1967 added more flair to the character and made it more memorable 🤨
@Smelly Waffels nah I can see why you'd say that if ur a major comic fan or something but that bane is soooo freaking iconic you can't even make the argument that it was the wrong choice

I remember Clubber Lang saying the same thing to Rocky after he beat Apollo and got complacent.

Tom Hardy's Bane is a combination of the most memorable writing and one of the best actors of our age.
👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥
Agreed 👏
Might be one of the most iconic villain voices in this modern era
Same with Josh Brolin.
Chris Nolan was right, Tom Hardy deserves bigger credit for playing Bane as he's still underrated for that.

That’s what makes that scene so chilling. He merely rests the back of his hand on the guys shoulder. Barely touching him but you can see Daggetts reaction. Just the force behind his hand resting there was enough to paralyze him. So good.
The fact that the move wasn't in the script and they just went with it and made that scene. Great actors!

Tom Hardy has such an amazing skill of diversifying every role he plays its insane. Like usually actors keep the same persona in most movies but Tom's movie characters are all iconic in their own way.
Yes. A real actor. People like the rock doing the same persona over and over is the biggest joke in the industry and still they sell good, smh.

@@matriximaster😂 this was such a pointless comment
@@matriximastergood for you?
@heloo6101 shut up why u hating?
Exactly why creativity is so important to movies. You need filmmakers who are willing to take risks like this in order to get more memorable performances. This is what makes Nolan's Batman movies so great. Joker and Bane in particular were created in a way that made them entirely unique to Nolans take on Batman characters and will be remembered forever because of it. Rather than what most superhero movies do where everything is really safe and generic and is easily forgotten after watching it.
At first it might seem funny or clumsy, but it ends up being iconic and very suiting for the character. Most villains would love to have an iconic trait as this one
i was never a bane fan until tom hardy portrayed him.
I was. Bane was one of the few characters that deduced that Batman was Bruce Wayne in the comics. Dr. Hugo Strange was another one.
More fool you, in the comics Bane is next level.
Bane was one of the most interesting Batman villain imo. He's both a physical and intelligent threat to Batman. Because of this he had different versions either leaning more on the physical type or the intelligent type. One version in the Batman cartoons, he's like a ninja assassin that can hulk out. In the Arkham games he's straight out a steroid-powered hulk that Batman literally cnt fight head on. Hardy's version is more of a terrorist fanatic with almost inhuman strenght.
"You merely adopted the dark... I was born in it. Molded by it"
I wonder if he knew how iconic that line would be
I did not see the light until i was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding.

this version of bane is one of the coolest villains ever in my opinion.
Iconic and fluid choice
He's definitely not a Romani Gypsy , he's an Irish Traveller
He’s a Jewish gangster who works with a Romani Gypsy frequently
He also served in the military and had a final showdown on a beach
He has said himself on record he is of Irish and Welsh decent and was born in Nottingham, don't know where Tom got romani, you can easily look it up, he is Irish and Welsh.
These two did not get the reference^
Ayye a pikey not peaky blinder

Just re-watched Band of Brothers for the first time in years, couldn't believe it when a skinny little kid version of Tom Hardy showed up.
Especially when you see him in something like Warrior where he looks like an absolute BEAST!
The Take 2009 !!!!!!! 👍👍👍🔥
He doesn’t say “now people love it” at the end, he says “now people laugh at it” as a joke
Holy sh*t; you're right! The subtitles tricked me!

Two incredible actors!
Bro turned into the joker at the end 💀
Right? And I was looking for someone to comment this, I want to see Tom hardy as the joker now.👀
One of the best actors out there period!
No doubt. His Peaky Blinders character, Alfie Solomons is sublime.
"He'll Wake Up. Granted, He Won't Have Any Teeth Left, But He Will Be A Wiser Man For It."
He also played Twombly a US Army Ranger in Black Hawk Down. I think it was the scene where his buddy lost his hearing.
👍🔥💯
Utterly brilliant actor. I think he should be the next James Bond, gentleman one moment, thug the next and back again in a flash!
Hello thanks for your love and support towards me and my movies💕. It keeps me going, what's your favorite of my movies?
I'd love to see him in a role closer to me. Yes that's it. That's the role he's missing.
My Bane impression is always a hit at parties. Thx Tom.
Also I loved the hommage that the Bane VA did in Harley Quinn
I’m just glad they didn’t try to make Tom do a Latin American accent for Bane lol
Agreed. Personally I love hearing Bane with a Latino accent but it wouldn’t made sense if Tom is playing him and they change his origin story.
Totally radical idea. Why not cast a Latino actor instead?
@@Mr_Phox I would’ve preferred that tbh
Right that would require talent or acting ability or god forbid hiring an actor that makes sense for the role. Nothing against him really just a complete mismatch for the part. He's a bigger dude but that's it and he's not big enough to play Bane.
@@yappaplaywell, comic book wise, bane is half british

@jamiestewart48 really?
Cor blimey bruv, tis truly splendid to be part of such a wonderful ensemble innit.
I personally loved everything about Bane! The first fight scene between Bane and Batman was awesome! “You merely adopted the Dark, I was born in it”
I also liked how Bane did a callback to Batman Begins with his own twist: "Theatricality and deception are powerful agents.... against the uninitiated".
That first part is exactly what Rhaas said in the first film. Bane added his own tweak with "for the uninitiated" part. I only realised this last week when I rewatched Begins as I purchased it on DVD.
“…of it”
Sorry, sorry.
But “in” in this since was basically what Bane was explaining what Batman was. “Of it” personifies the darkness.
