I took my dog everywhere we could when she was a puppy because we wanted her to be involved in the memories. Its amazing for them to socialize and you will never have problems with them around people if they are socialized from very young! Keep doing your own thing!!

Also- I LOVE doing stuff with my dog. And because of me taking him everywhere and training in the real world, we’re now working on him becoming a therapy dog! And he doesn’t have anxiety being home alone or in his kennel when he has to be. Even putting him in another room or a kennel when you’re HOME with him is helpful if you’re trying to make sure his anxiety stays low. Just any time apart is ok. That way he can go everywhere with you!

It’s good thing Brody is your dog and that you can do whatever you please with him!!! 💙 we take my little German Sheppard everywhere with us but she knows what her crate is and she actually loves it.

bringing your puppies places is so good for them!! getting them out in the world and seeing everything is such a good thing for them. we brought my golden (also named brody 😂) everywhere when he was just a wee little man and now he’s such a happy go lucky dog and loves to be around people and meeting new people and other dogs. but we also leave him home and he’s calm but bringing him places has let him explore the world ♥️ so i’m glad you brought him with you and he didn’t have to miss out on fun with you guys and the experience !!
also, why would you get a dog if you’re going to leave him home all the time???? that would be such a sad and boring life for them :((
H K ok then you can do what you want with your dog but anyone else’s is none of your business. my dog is perfectly happy and has no separation anxiety, so i’m thinking that he’s pretty okay having been socialized young. because now he has no anxiety going to new places or even the vet so thanks but he’s fine.

I think that happens when you wear heavy or dangling earrings too much, try switching to studs for awhile or ask a professional piercer at a tattoo place!

First off love you❤️ I wanted to tell you the foreo is actually what is most likely causing your dry skin, it’s pulling all the natural oils out of your skin and can actually cause micro tears if you use it too much. I had one and it made me break out and get super read because it is too rough. If you do use it be sure to only use it like once a week that’s what my esthetician told me :)

You can get dermal filler in your ear to fill in the hole. It’s temporary, but works great!
I don’t get why people get mad that you bring Brody places so much. I want to bring my dogs with me anywhere and everywhere. I love how social they are! But they also LOVE their crate and are totally fine behind home alone when I go to work or the grocery store or other places they can’t go. I saw a quote once that says “dogs are part of your life but you are their whole life”
Just make sure that bone is not rawhide, those can cause blockages and choking! We go with rubber/plastic bones for our great dane (who looks just like Ozzy)💗
Yeah, absolutely do not feel bad about taking Brody places with you. My boyfriend has a tiny dog and he goes everywhere with him (he’s literally taken him to one of his college classes lol) he is so well behaved with him and when he’s left alone! It really depends on the dog. Continue to let Brody live his best life!

I have a 9month goldendoodle puppy and take him everywhere haha I just love having him experience new things and meet new people. He's so great with people and outings now! If you left him alone more people would critique you for that haha don't even worry about those people.... they probably don't even have a dog

I used to be SO AFRAID of dogs from a traumatic dog attack in high school. When I met my boyfriend, he had mention he has a dog but Buddy wasn’t the nicest when meeting new people. It took SO MUCH TIME to build that trust with Buddy. My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years!! Throughout this time, my boyfriend and I take Buddy to as many places as we can. Dogs live such a SHORT LIFE compared to humans. I want to give him as many great memories as possible! We bring him to as many places as we can. He loves going outside and smelling all the things. Unfortunately, dogs don’t live forever (I wish they did!). So I record videos and take pictures of all our memories and save them. I don’t understand why people are criticizing you for saving all the great memories you have with your dog. Continue to take Brody everywhere and do what makes you and your family happy!
I’ve heard that you can get Botox injections into your ear to help support the holes! Not sure how it works, I’ve never done it, I just saw something about it online!

If you wear heavy earrings it can stretch out the piercing hole a bit, but you can buy earring huggies (idk what they’re actually called) at Claire’s or amazon. They help lift the earring so it doesn’t tug down. It can also be the style too, I only wear studs but i have a pair of hoop with a thicker front, and since the part that goes through the ear is skinny but long it shifts around the ear and hangs down. So it could also be the style of the earring and how long the thin part that goes through the ear is!

For the earring hole lol- they have these sticker things on amazon that you stick to the back of your ear, then poked your earring through the hole in your ear that will poke out through the sticker. If that makes sense haha. It holds the earring weight into the sticker and not the earring hole!
I think it's great when you bring your dog places. Dogs are social, and they thrive on field trips. Don't mind the Karen's. I love seeing puppies 😍

It is none of people's business what you're doing with your dog ! We only see a small part of your daily activities, so nobody knows how much Brody is spending time alone or with you and even if, it's your dog and your decision on how much you want to take him with you or not !
I actually find it incredible how much he gets to adventure with you - dream life for a dog ! Dogs should have the opportunity to live things with their owners and not always be home alone. Of course it's important to train your dog to be able to be alone, but having a dog for leaving him at the house all the time shouldn't be a goal 🙈
So please ignore this incredibly unnecessary backlash and enjoy whatever you want to do with your little family !

Don’t feel bad about wanting to take your dog apple picking. Whenever I contemplate taking my dog somewhere my husband always says, “do you want Josie (our dog) to go her whole life without experiencing this?” Why wouldn’t you want to give your dog the best life possible and let him have experiences? Dogs get enjoyment out of new surroundings and smells.

You don't have to explain why you take your dog everywhere you go. My dog is a rescue and when we got her she was a puppy and we took her everywhere. She is crate trained and now 4 years old and she loves being home alone. No effect what so ever.

You may not even notice you do it but if you watch back some of your videos you pull on your ears/earrings a lot!!! It might be a nervous habit but I’ve been watching since freshman year of BU days and you do it so much in videos! So that could be some of the problem 😂

Also, Retrievers are great at catching a frisbee. I’ve taught all 3 of my dogs. Started with putting a little peanut butter on the rim and then a small treat to call him back with. Soft frisbees (like Chuck it brand) are gentle on their teeth/gums.

Your dog is apart of your family, you should want to bring him places and socialize him! Alone time for dogs is good so they don’t develop separation anxiety. But some people seem to think locking their dogs in a crate for hours on end is a better idea (... imo doesn’t seem fair either). You’re never going to please everyone, Brody is your pup and you’re doing just fine💗
