I want to buy individual square vents not the whole framed unit. Over time the plastic louvers get brittle and break.. looked everywhere online seems they are only sold a complete unit. Strange, must be 1000's like me with older homes just needing the spare inserts. !
Ever figure this out? I want to paint the ceiling too. Looks like maybe I press in the plastic tab and it releases but either I’m not pressing hard enough or I’m wrong. 🤷🏼♂️

How do you remove the “biscuits” to rotate them?
I was able to lift mine by pushing the 'biscuit' to one side and lifting the other end.

@@JasonLianneMac yes.. little screw driver to remove.. I just had to make sure I had new ones as alot of them broke being brittle..
I had plastic clips and they just broke from being too brittle
