I curently have ryzen 7 7800x3d with rx 6700 xt, thinking about switching graphics card, but can't decide what to take... 34'' ultrawide 3440x1440 resolution. Thinking about 7900gre or rx 7800xt.
Had both, 7800xt is no brainer if you can buy it for 450$ or less.. If you can find Hellhound buy it. Its the best budget 7800xt, avoid twin fan models if you can but even those will work just fine. Second option is to wait for 9070xt but i dont think its going to be that cheap. 7800xt will be new 6700xt in my opinion.
For me is interesting is the radeon better then rtx for vr ? With 16gb ram vs 12 on 4070ti. I personally dont like dlls any more. When you can try it with open xr. Meta quest 3 is amazing experience in simracing

i have 0 exp with VR but i would go with 7900 xt at least with 7800x3d for higher res. gear
