When they were sitting it up to perform, I didn't expect a lot. The rest of the band stood back leaving just those two. When they were finished I doubt there was a dry eye in the place. And I know I'll never forget it.

Anyone know of a slower version of this song? I don't know the Artist. It was the "b" side of a 1970's "Robinson Crusoe" 45 r.p.m. I had. Its still THE MOST BEAUTIFUL thing I've ever heard, and it haunts me that I can't find it.

I wouldn't even call this a version of Wayfaring Stranger. It's a teaser to what is a beautiful song, or would be a beautiful song if he sang more than just a tiny fraction of it. Maybe it's just too much to remember more words to the song.
I love how he kept the guitar simple so the words would predominate. Beautiful rendition.
