Coastal GX always do my friend . It kinda makes me sad to see all the trash sometimes, because it’s so easy just to take a trash bag and take your trash with you or just put it on a trash can. We love to fish and we want to keep fishing spots clean and for our future generations to do what we love doing ( fish)!!

You say your glamping, I say your "Coastaliando", its the new thing to do now that you are on the scene. I lift the truck on ramps and rinse it with low pressure. Then I use “Salt Off” and let it sit for a few minutes. I then repeat the rinsing process and let it dry. Then I inspect for any surface rust and spray over it with a rubberized aerosol spray. I haven’t done a full treatment yet.

I noticed a bunch of mosquitoes as we got closer to the grassy dunes when we were picking up trash. I didn’t encounter sand fleas though; I remember getting painful bites from “no see ums” in Charleston, SC but I’ve never had issues at SPI. There’s large horseflies though and they pack a fierce bite. I will ask around; maybe I’ve been fortunate enough to simply not encounter them.
I can’t take credit for Bryan’s setup!! But he tells me it’s just Louisiana beer batter and the spicy Cajun. The beer batter one is better. Just add some wxtra spice. Hope that helps! 🤤

The “East Cut” is reached by driving north along the beach 27 miles until you can no longer drive. You visit SPI like you would normally and then go in through County Beach Access 6. You may need to pay $14 to enter so take some cash. Then you drive along the beach and reach your destination. Watch my other videos to get a better idea and check out the area on google maps. Know that access is temporarily closed because of COVID.

Only whiting in this trip. We’ve caught bull reds, black drum, flounder, and kingfish at the cut in the past.
