SAMBAR STALKING WITH REG GORDON OCTOBER 2010

ARCHIVAL FOOTAGE - I was looking for some alpine footage on an old hard drive that we took in 2008 whilst snowing and managed to find some video footage that I thought I'd lost of a mature stag with good symmetry and excellent tops, 10th October 2010

Yeah, every day, l look at him in my lounge room. We had crossed paths several times over the years before that faithful morning. There were many memorial connections with this magnificent stag.👍

I know the feeling mate. Last year I was really trying to hunt this amazing stag with my bow that I have let go over the years, unfortunately I think the long bomb thermal shooters may of got him. Pretty sad really, but I still have my special one on the wall that I look at every day too.

Hi Rod, l think l was using the 150grn Remington Corelokts? They were devastating under 100 yards. I always found the projectile under the skin on the other side.
