God this is just amazing. The pose and details on the mermaid itself is amazing, but the water is so amazingly detailed too. Everything in this is so gorgeous.

This is an amazing drawing. I love the character, the colors, the lighting, and the way you did the water. You did say however that you had trouble with the sand. Perhaps something that would make it more realistic is having dark "wet" sand near the water, since there is normally sand wetted by a previous, larger wave. Thank you for your artwork, I love it!

This piece was deadly tiring. Coloring water is so fun and interesting but... also exhausting :'D
And it's also been sooooo long since the last time I tried to draw a mermaid. That tail and its scales were quite challenging! I also enjoyed drawing a scene with so much sun! I love high contrasts! òwó
I still gotta learn better methods to draw sand tho, it's such a hard subject for me, but I'll get there eventually!
