That Marvel Mystery 2 was a bargain

It seems like it. I'm not deep on the rest of the Marvel Mystery run, but it seemed cheap to me before I checked GPA.

I'm just always happy that my overpaid winnings aren't featured here.

I agree that Byrne's work on the Capt. America title was among his best, I wish he'd stayed on it longer. In my opinion, the McFarlane cover issue of Batman is way overvalued -- not that I don't like his work, but there were hundreds of thousands of that issue printed. Thanks for the video.

I agree that the Batman cover is overvalued versus the assumed supply. In the preview I talked about having a stack in the 1990s. That said, people collect what they want to collect so sometimes prices defy gravity.
I definitely wish Byrne had done more Captain America. He's the definitive artist on the character for me.

Wow, that Action looked beautiful, restored or not. I don't do art either. Whenever I get some I mostly give it away.
The Batman was a steal! The rest of the books were all amazing and fun to look at!
On the Whiz comics, do you think that more "big spenders" go to the Heritage auctions?
    Enjoyed the video!

I'm guessing there's some percentage of Heritage bidders that don't bid on any other comics auctions. I have bought in other categories at Heritage often, just because it's so easy. I buy from everyone that does comic auctions. Heritage is in the mix for me in a lot of categories where they're the only one or one of two, just because it's convenient for me to watch what they're selling and bid. That said, I think that Whiz result is still weird. ComicConnect gets great results too.

@@itsalljustcomics Agree! I too enjoy many different Auctions; I do MCS and Ebay as well (usually for lower costing books though). Mostly I just set my max bid to be what I would offer and walk away. It's fun for me to come back later and see if I won. :) I was fairly lucky lately with the bigger auction houses; I won 11 books total, but they didn't total over 6K, so they were not "mega grails" or anything like that, but they were books that I will enjoy having. Have a wonderful Christmas!
