Thanks for posting this, Brandon. I didn't even know paint correction was a thing. My bike has swirls I need to fix. I learn something every time I watch your channel.
I have my bike just about a year now, I bought it used (it’s a 2002) but it was garage kept and well maintained by the original owner. I’m about to give it its first wash since I had it so it watched about a dozen videos before this one, and decided this is how you do it, this is how it’s done. The only problem is, I’m 62 years old now and don’t have the patience. I used to take care of my cars like this back in the day but no more, I let the car wash do their thing, lol. I want to commend you though on a very good instructional video, your bike looks fantastic. Hey, are you for hire? 😀
Awesome job and good looking bike. Whenever I go to that amount of detail in cleaning my bike though, I can expect to ride through a 5 minute rain shower somewhere that day even with zero percent chance of rain 😂
ON POINT BROTHER. Meguires is a good product; you do not need to spend crazy money on products for paint correction if the prep is done correctly. RIDE SAFE BROTHER.
Good presentation, I do not like music in how too videos but at least yours is at a Minium volume in the background as you explain your process. Stay well.
Damn it man this looks hard work, ive got to do mine soon but i always thaught some bikini models appeared out of nowhere and made it sparkle. Might need to check the owners manual
I honestly don't remember. I never got it to act right and I had it running on whatever it was. It didn't cut off the soap and just spray water when I wanted it to either.
Hey bro I need your help bad I just bought a 2009 Vulcan and man it is in really bad condition it has rust all over it and I’m starting to feel overwhelmed 😢lol anyway I have a lot of products that I can use but I don’t know where to start. Like should I wash it first before rubbing off the rust or get rid of the rust before washing it?
At this point, washing it won’t be the end of the world. Just dry it off well then attack the rust with chemicals or tools (maybe steel wool on chrome?). Cleaning it first gives you the best idea on what you’re up against.
@@BrandonBicasso ok great I think I’m going to video my journey with this bike I didn’t know it was think bad because I pick it up in the evening where there was not much lightning. Lessons learnt I guess anyway I’ll let you know how it goes and I will definitely mention and your page if that’s okay.
My biggest regret is getting my Harley in Denim Black. I got no way to paint correct or buff etc. All I can do is wash is and use denim cleaner which does nothing. I can't wipe too hard or it will create shine in the paint and start looking all different types of black and it seems that's happening over time anyway rven though im careful. I absolutely hate this denim paint and am strongly considering getting a new paintjob with a gloss so I can wax etc but I really don't wanna put more money into my Sportster than I already have. Part of me wants to just trade in a start fresh with different paint but I love my bike just not the paint and I do really wish I had the highlighted fins on my motor. Also my motor casings are starting to look more grey than black and that's bothering me bad and I know pig spit or the other brands works ok after a wash makes the casings look better but it comes off easy and alot of debris collects on it. Idk what to do. I want that brand new look again without having to buy a new bike. I love my Iron 883 and put thousands into it and it is very mechanically sound and reliable bike so I don't wanna get rid of it since it's been so good to me. Part of me wants to get a nice white paint with a touch of black flake and just get make it a 1250 with highlighted fins and all new casings and new strut covers & forks etc so the bike looks brand new again and more power but we're talking at least another $6k+ for that into a bike I bought for $6k cash with 2k miles on it. It now has 13k miles in 2 years ive had it. Idk, how do guys do it? How do they make an older bike look brand new again? What is needed? I want all my lines and wires to look new too. How do I do this for a 2015 Iron 883? Can engine cases be "re-powder coated" and can strut covers and forks be "re-glossed" and is it cheaper to go that route or just better off buying all new parts that are already freshly painted?
@@todddellinger9719 I don't have a link for that one. I think I found it in autozone. I'd get the new one from Harbor Freight if I needed one now. $25 and it has favorable reviews for those that don't have electric pressure washers.

What a great video! I love your relaxed attitude and the passion you have for the work!
I see were I went wrong, I didn't clay bar it first! Gonna have to try again in the spring. Thanks for the tip!!
This was a Fantastic Job my man! You are selling yourself short, before and after shots are right up there w/ ammonyc.
Sweet! I never knew about clay bar.
Always room to learn more 😃
Thank you so much for the level of detail that you covered in this video
Excellent process! So many people skip the clay bar and don’t know what they’re missing out on until they see the ok but not great end result.
Def gotta claybar. Scratching the surface more otherwise.
Thank you for breaking down the steps. Subscribing!!
Brandon you did an amazing job, but your bike is awesome also, good 4 you boy.
This is me once winter arrives with oil changes lol great video

Lol, I’d totally do it for a friend but no way 🤣. My bikes get a wash once a year because of those reasons.
now that is a serious detail job !!!!!
Awesome job 👏🏽
Nice work Brandon.

Oh I’d be sick after that amount of work and I cut corners in some spots 😂
A fun video to watch. The bike cane out really nice. Good job !!
Love the vanity plate!

Dope job sir
You did a fantastic job 🤘🏻
Man, you busted out the Clay Bar??? Serious detail! Looks like you gained 10HP.
😂😂😂 that’s the only way to do it right
Dang Brandon, Where are you located? You do Insanely great work!!!
Alabama 🫶🏾
Where did you get the Bauer orbital polisher? I don’t see them at harbor freight
@@dustinjohnson2116 Harbor Freight. Had it for a few years.
Good video. Do you have a video for matte paint?
I don't : (
"Not looking for perfection" look pretty darn close to me friend. Would love to see your process for denim paint?
😂, I really wasn’t. I don’t have a dent painted bike at the moment but will make one if I do.
Great info!!

Would the ultimate compound and polish get good results as well ?
Yes, I used that on my car multiple times before I upgraded to this. 🤟🏾
I have the same foam sprayer that you have what seating number are you using onit

The cheap little foamer that you have connected to the hose to spray foam soap.....can you please tell me what it's called?
You can get them on Amazon. “Foam cannon” without a pressure washer. If you want one for a pressure washer, search that.
@@BrandonBicasso Awesome! Thank you for your response.
I was gonna ask same thing
What's that soap sprayer hose attachment?
I got it from autozone. Here's the same one with a different name. a.co/d/bqsrweM
If I got a new one, would get the one from Harbor Freight.
Thank You!
Can I use decreaser to clean the chrome or what you have
That degreaser is for aluminum parts so possibly.
good stuff brother!!
VERY GOOD !!
What's in the red spray bottle for
Just a quick detailer. Mostly used to lubricate the surface so the clay bar doesn't scratch the paint with the particles it's removing.

Where can I find the clay bar at
Check the link in the video description. Auto part stores carry Meguiar's products too.
Can't find that cannon on Amazon

Ah, you can handle it if you got the basics down. Discipline is the hard part. 😅

Clay bar
When I do my son's bike I do it by hand no buffing
That's too much work lol. Unless it's a spot I can't get to with the machine.
Clay bar during all those baths would have saved time, and made it easier too rinse 🚿 off.
And then I would’ve had less life from my clay bar.

How to detail a bike 101
Whe you clean your bike it makes it faster 😂😂😂😂😂
This is why you have clearcoat
You should’ve removed the seat so you could protect the entire fender and tank
There isn’t paint under the seat.
You know that’s Harley abuse not to wash your Harley.
Cover the leather next time
