Can confirm that this shit still happens regularly on BF4. The worst ones are the guys all by themselves who can't be spawned on because they're "in combat" and then the guy you do spawn on is surrounded.
BF3 was worse when you could spawn mid combat and couldn't shoot back cus "spawn protection"

The worst part about spawning, is that everyone should know that taking a breath from the fight for like 10 seconds helps the squad not lose the field upgrades.
But there is always that one guy in the middle of the fight who just don't help with spawning

0:07 Search for instant cover and give it time, the guy will uncalmingly start to move.
0:17 IMMEDIATE EJECT, walk your way it's healthier for mentality.
0:47 Retreat to the next cover behind. You're not the spawning flesh shield of your crew mate.
1:07 -Spawning on a beacon is a great idea.-
