Was watching this show - loving everything about it - looked down at my phone for a minute or two and then heard this song - I don’t think I’ve ever been more intrigued so fast! I shot my head up and wanted to learn this song so bad! This was a Disney quality song - if not better! This show is going to go FAR! It’s so high quality and the singing is amazing! simpsons262 it’s people who don’t like musicals rating it badly because they don’t like the music. It makes no sense. I see a lot of they didn’t market it this way for a reason when in the first trailer it’s marketed as an animated musical. I don’t like reality shows but you dont see me watching them and then giving them low grades online
Kristen Bell and Leslie Odom Jr have SUCH an amazing harmonic. I love how he sits behind her in so many of these songs, because even though she has an incredible voice and is driving the lead a lot of the time, he unquestionably has the more impressive dynamic and is doing so much of the lifting with his simply unbelievable harmonies. It really shows how much he knows about the importance of giving in that scenario, and is not trying to steal spotlight from Kristen while she’s absolutely nailing her lead! I’m so glad there was a reprise in this episode that let him show off his incredible range, but also that Kristen Bell is left her moment to flex her incredible skills at mixing her vocals with her natural charm through those spoken vocals in this song. Just two ridiculously lovely and talented performers lifting each other up, neither one stepping on the other. I could watch this forever!
Central Park Guy also didn’t realise I’d mixed up the voice actors. I assumed this was Leslie Odom Jr because he has one of the greatest falsettos on Broadway, but turns out Titus Burgess is the singer that I was so particularly enamoured by. Never realised how talented he was, but holy hell is that a perfect harmony!
Let me get this straight: It's okay to have a black man voice an elderly white woman, but it's not okay for a white woman to voice a biracial young girl? The TV world is very dumb at times. :I

I think that Great North is produced by Loren Bouchard, but not created by him. It's instead created by Lizzie and Wendy Molyneux, who have written for Bob's Burgers for several seasons now.
Granted this is coming from a white guy, but I love that her hypothetical super power involves her hair. Considering what a complicated relationship some minorities have with their natural hair type, I think it’s a fantastic character moment and great message about self love.
I bet Tina & Molly will hang out with each other and same with Gene & Cole I also bet that Paige and Linda also Owen & Bob will hang out with each other too.
For somebody who tends to hate this style, I love how this looks despite having really off-putting designs for the people. That's high-quality animation for ya :)
NGL the art style put me off at first, but listening to the music and seeing the actual animation makes me want to see it and give it a chance. Seems really good! EDIT: 1 day later, I've seen 8 out of 10 episodes. It's super good. Please don't let the art style put you off. Super pumped for Season 2 and hopefully more seasons in the future
