Great Video Aaron. Based on my experience in custom fitting I would 100% agree that am golfers expect way to much ! Some very deluded ! But great insight into getting to the true source of the problem ! Ps I’d be happy from 160 yards to be max 25ft depending on condition !
Hi David, I have Arccos but for this i used the metrics mentioned. Arccos is brilliant for telling you whats weak but baring in mind if you improve chipping then your putting will take a hit because you might be holing putts from closer in.
I’m hard on myself and I’m a 12.7 handicap, if I’m not close I’m raging. Then I watch golf on tv and a player hits it to 20ft and the commentator says great shot although their courses are obviously much harder.
Yeah I totally get you! A pga tour pro will miss the green 1 out of every 4 attempts from 160. You can be a great iron player and miss greens if your putting your good ones close. Hitting the green is a reward regardless of the putt.
@@APlusGolf guaranteed mate. I used to get proper raging but it’s only cos you know you can do better but I’ve chilled out loads especially when you see the pros hitting shocking drives and shanks etc if they’re doing things like that then there’s no point in amateurs getting pissed off with bad shots.

Arccos would be the best bit of kit amateurs could use to compare themselves to professionals on tour and to truly learn what they should work on.
Don't the tour averages include the distance on missed greens??
Love the concept of this video. New sub here 👊
2 club wind is tough for that challenge. An admirable effort.
I may do it again in summer for 18 holes. But from different yardages each hole.
I’m happy with it coming out the middle of the face tbh
Me too clearly 😂😂
Good video, would like to know if you use any app to track strokes gained or use arccos to track SG for all distances, off tee and putting?
