RUclips needs to lighten up. I’ve seen EVERYTHING you’ve released and found all of what you do awesome! Signed, a complete fan of yours. Thanks for making my days better when I get to see new content. 👏👏❤️
Another great video only blocks from my house. I know his daughter Toni (boy does THAT woman have some stories) and I am good friends with his grandson. Love that you are SO close by!! Keep up the AMAZING work!! Much love from Chicago
Those are some nice looking houses, I(and I'm sure others) wonder if there's been any paranormal activity in that house. We'll never know, great video Scott and Midwest Flesh
Another great time!!! man i been waiting on this one too....lemme get some extra green peppas on dat!!!! Can't wait to get out in the streets again withcha man!
Interesting video. I finally was able to take a break from my crazy life and watch it. I like the basement but I don't think I would want to live in a house where a murder took place.
I’ve always wanted to visit these sites. Giancana has been a lifelong subject of interest for me. I went to high school in the 90’s in Virginia. In my history class, my teacher told is we could give a presentation on ANYBODY in history. I was neck deep into my education on the Chicago mob, San in particular, so I chose him. Each day we didn’t turn it in past the due date, we lost a letter grade. I turned mine in an entire week late. I was an irresponsible student, lol. My teacher made me come to the classroom before school started one day to present my report to her. I stood up to read my paper aloud, and as soon as I said Sam Giancana’s name her face lit up. It turns out she lived just down the block from him as a girl and remembered seeing him around the neighborhood. She was so impressed that I knew who he was, I got 100% on my report, even though it was a complete week late.
Hi Scott, I'm born (Cook County Hospital) and bred from Chicago. I read Sam's kinda' autobiography "Double Cross" years ago. Sam was somethin' different. Lived by the sword, died by the sword.
Theses mob stories are endless but so interesting. Mount Carmel was my 2nd home growing up. What amazes me I think is that their burials never match their lifestyles. What I mean my that is obviously they were not living the good people life, yet they were mostly buried in Catholic Cemeteries with elaborate funerals and burial spots and with all of these spiritual monuments around them and Godly inscriptions written on their tombs. Everything they did in life goes against everything they got in death. Catholic Diocese doesn't allow non-Christian burials in their cemeteries, yet why is it ok to bury these hoodlums in them that led very unchristian lives. I think it's because the church was afraid of them too, plus money talks, right?! Great video Scott. It's always great to see Steve along too, he's really smart about this stuff. RIP to all the good people buried here ❤💐
Scott, you do great work. Your videos are so well done and always respectful. I hope your subscribers and views continue to soar. You deserve it. Blessings to you 🙏🏽
Likely Butch Blasi, not Tony Spilotro. Biggest question: why was long term, 24 hour surveillance by local and federal authorities pulled off his home hours before he was killed?
Moved to Oak Park a couple years after this. Then found out my house was on the same street Fillmore Street, but about a mile due east. Passed it many times on the way to the local Jewel grocery store.
I always wanted to see the house, he didn't far Tony Ant and his brother. I live not to far from Tony brother Patrick, but he move to Arizona thinking the time of the family secret trail.
You did it again Scott another great story of the mafioso, from his house to is final resting place , thanks again brother for the filming 🎥 locations, and all the entertainment you bring us brother keep doing what you do best bro , 👍 stay safe out there love mr b Robin hood county uk 👍 👊 🙏
I'd imagine when the wind blows in the night over there all you can hear are the mustered whispers of "Forget about it!" "Why I outta" "Where the provolone?!''
Good Afternoon Scott 🙋🏽. I have a big book that I brought years ago called MOBSTERS AND GANGSTERS. AND IT'S IS VERY GRAPHIC. IT TELLS YOU ABOUT EVERY MOBSTER OR GANGSTER THAT WAS ALIVE BACK THEN ‼️ THANK YOU FOR INVITING ME TO WATCH YOUR VIDEO TODAY ‼️ ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR DAY ‼️👋🏽
Those must be the cicadas chirping....happens every 17 years in Illinois. Virtually Impossible to wander in the local Forest Preserves as you will have several or more crawling all over you, fortunately it's temporary...lasts about 2 weeks if I'm correct, then they all die off. It's a strange phenomenon. They'll be back in 2041. Mount Carmel Cemetery is a VERY interesting place to visit as it's the final stop for several mob bosses (Capone, Weiss, O'Banion, the Genna Brothers) or hitmen ( Jack McGurn) from the Prohibition Era. In addition, all of the Catholic Archbishops of the Archdiocese of Chicago as well...their mausoleum is rather impressive to see. I wonder if he knows about a VERY infamous, and allegedly one of THE most haunted places in the United States, it's a dilapidated cemetery in Illinois called Bachelors Grove...
I’m digging the mob themed videos! Keep ‘em coming! One little note: I have a hard time hearing your friend when he talks. RUclips closed captions suck lol!
Growing up my grandma was friends with a girl that later went on to be one of his favorite girlfriends(lol). Phyllis McGuire. She and her sisters attended my grandparents wedding. This is before Phyllis was running around with a mobster though lol
This mob series has been really awesome..I seen a video that they was using part of your video the other day..I sent u the clip on IG..Stay well..those old style houses are the best a lot of them up where I live to
A week before his death, he had gallbladder surgery. So naturally Sam would not have been able to eat the sausage and peppers that he was making that night, as it would have been too spicy for him. So what does that tell us? It would appear that he was cooking that for someone he knew and liked. There was also no forced entry. Shot 7 times in the head and neck with a 22 caliber pistol. He was interred next to his wife, Angeline. He moved to Cuernavaca Mexico and lived there for a while. Then he was arrested and brought back to Chicago over the CIA Castro deal. Loving these mob videos. So Scott, would you buy a mob member house? Peace...
It's always someone close to em. It's like the old kings of England. Or betrayals we all experience throughout life. Never the enemy always the "friend"
This dude, smh😒. His "paws" was tied to so much, across Chicago and even some other places. Lemme add a name that many may not be aware of their correlation, Theodore "Teddy" Roe
What a story, so fascinating Scott. Always interesting that people who comit these crimes have all the religious symbols on their headstones- ironic. Great job Scott ❤
FYI: James Files/Sutton just happened to be at the airport that night and PERSONALLY SAW Johnny Roselli in the flesh! They didn't speak, but acknowledged one another with a nod. Files said that the car picking him up, just happened to be behind Roselli's car. "We had business further down the road, but I watched the driver turn, taking Roselli towards Sam's House! I knew Sam would be the only person he'd be going to see which would explain him flying in!" Files was not able to identify the driver of the car but went on to say, "When I woke up the next morning and saw it on the news, I KNEW IMMEDIATELY Roselli had done it, because Sam NEVER would have allowed anyone into his home he didn't know!" He also said even though Giancana ran things in Chicago, it was Tony Accardo was the TOP DOG! "Mr Accardo NEVER gave up control and anything BIG had to go through Tony, PERIOD!" James Files was a guy who worked for CIA and the Outfit. He knew Oswald personally having traded machine guns with him once during a gun run in Louisiana. Files used a 'work car' to transport the kill weapons to Dallas where he'd driven down the week prior. Oswald took him to a landfill in Mesquite to calibrate the scopes. With each ejected shell casing, Files instructed Oswald to pick up the shell casings, hence the nitrates in Oswald's palm but nothing on his face, neck, arm or shoulder caused by blow back from having fired a weapon. INTERESTING: On the morning of the JFK assassination, Charles Nicolletti instructed Files to show him Dealey Plaza. As Charles and James walked around the plaza, Nicolletti had instructed him that the assassination was moving forward. The only people who could have called it off that day was CIA Handler David Atlee Phillips and Tony Accardo. Neither one of them stopped it. Giancana was whacked because he was scheduled to testify about his connections to the assassination! Roselli whacks Giancana. Hardly a year later, Roselli is found with his legs cut off floating in a barrel. Less than a year after that, Nicolletti got it! The BIG boss and James Files were the only ones to survive that. Files JUST got out of prison. I'M A WEALTH OF HALF ASS knowledge on this!!! hahahahaha LOVE YOUR CHANNEL Scott!
Do love the homes in Oak Park. I went there quite a lot growing up in the 70s since my cousins lived there. I am originally from down state Illinois. The mausoleum is interesting as well. Sam Giancana was certainly a notorious Chicago mob boss. The mob hits were still plentiful in that era.
I wonder just how many times being at different places, eating at different restaurants, being at different stores, etc, just how many times I was sitting next to or walking by connected individuals and had no clue. I know I have a picture of me with a very infamous "person" from a trip to South Korea, that I had no clue to who was until some suits asked me why I was next to him. I had no idea who he was, it was just coincidence. My life is full of odd and unusual things like that.
Scott my father was friends with Antionette Giancana the daughter of Sam Giancana. 😊 I will post a picture of a book she wrote and gave to my father on your FB.

Even when the cops are watching ??

He couldn't have eaten the meal he was cooking due to his ulcers, so the consensus believes he was cooking for a 'close friend'.

Tony Accardo (Joe Batters) no doubt, gave the go ahead to whack SG. The outfit takes care of its own.
A week before his death, he had gallbladder surgery. So naturally Sam would not have been able to eat the sausage and peppers that he was making that night, as it would have been too spicy for him. When that happens to Sam, his parents or family's members was upstairs.
I read about his murder in Bill Roemer's autobiography Roemer: Man against the Mob.
Did you know Tony Bennett played a concert in Riis Park for Giancannas birthday.
Why would he do that?
Hey Scott have you done a story on Thomas Desimone??? Joe pesci played him in Goodfellas
