To my ears through the headphone they both sound great; the Cleo has a bell-like chime and sparkle on the high frequencies whereas the Sage is more mid-focused and resonant on the mid/low frequencies. It's ultimately a question of preference as to which one suits your ears/applications the best.
How's the action of the guitar, how tall are the bridge inlays? And are there spacers underneath the bridge inlays, or do the inlays have to filed down if lower action is desired?
Man. I bought a cheap mini guitar for my daughter from orangewood. I love it and want a higher range from ow. I really prefer the feel and look of the satin finish, but really like the inlays on the Cleo. I want a Sage with all the premium bling.
Hey Dave what strings do you like to throw on your Orangewoods? I switched the Ernie balls to some custom light d'addarios xts on my sage TS, because the medium lights were a little too heavy for me, but now the low end sounds kind of muted. What strings would work well to bring that low end out?
The Cleo to me sounds fresher and louder which appeals to me for fingerpicked tunes. The Sage is a more mellow sound. Although still nice I prefer the Cleo.
Sorry if i am bothering you, but my capo works for the upper frets but the further i move it down the fretboard one of the outer strings escape from the grip of the Capo and that string is muted. You wouldnt happen to know what type of capo i need for my dreadnought guitar?

I really like the new logo- the old logo is maybe the only thing I didn't care for about Orangewood. Hope they start putting it on their older models also but maybe it's just for the Topanga range..
Thanks for the demo, Dave. But uhuh orangewood isn't shipping to europe! A lot of us are waiting here to buy these beautiful instruments! Come on guys (and girls) from Orangewood, there's a giant market waiting for you!

These would compare price wise and specs with the Cort Gold A6 and A8 series. How do they compare in your opinion? I've seen you've done a few videos with the Cort Gold.
I think they’re very close, but would have to say the Cleo wins out, the set up on it makes it much easier to play. I think the Cort Gold probably looks nicer though and is still and excellent guitar that also has inbuilt electronics so maybe better value when you factor that in.
@@GuitarZero2Hero Thanks for the answer! I would says also that the neck on the Cort has reinforcement that probably Orangewood doesn't + Double lock neck joint... I've got my Gold O6 on a great discount, so it was like $650, insane GUITAR for the money...

Hi Iain, its not just South Africa they refuse to ship, I've tried twice to buy an Orangewood guitar and have it shipped to the UK no joy. Looks like they can only ship internationally to RUclips reviewer's, the only answer is to start you're own YT guitar channel get plenty of views and Orangewood will send you one free of charge, or do what I did and buy another brand.
