      dont think so! remember it was recorded to tape so if the speed of the tape changes at all it will effect the sound

      See those metal keys under his right wrist. Those are called regulators. When he plays the regulators with his palm (or side) of his hand or wrist he can add chords or add individual notes but the drones continue to play in the same key. In this case C. The most popular sets of uilleann pipes are in D. There are special sets of pipes with extra drones that will allow you to switch to a different key. Flick of a switch and your drones go from say D to G or A. Usually just one additional key. Pretty cool.
