    What this game needs is a rewind function like they have in MotoGP and most other racing games these days. That at least would take some of the frustration out of crashing, or getting bumped by the AI, and ending up in last place all the time.

    • @ComeForPeace
      @ComeForPeace 5 месяцев назад +2

      Fully agreed 👍. The circuit in this game is significantly longer in other racing games. Many races will last for more than 30 mins. It so frustrating when you crash at the very last few corners and all the 30 mins driving efforts are wasted 😢. In addition, this game is not forgiving, a single wrong timing in throttle or brake in this game will result in crashes.

  • @thatfirstone

    The simulation is truly quite fantastic, especially in Helmet cam. TT3 and RiMS, are by far the ONLY realistic bike sims on the market. But the career mode doesn't make any sense to me, so I stick to the custom races on full circuits. This game's career should rather take all eight courses, and make the rider race each section separately, before being allowed to enter a race with a full circuit. That should be repeated for all eight courses, starting from shortest to longest, until the full TT circuit. That might have made more sense for the career.

    • @lewisbateman8774
      @lewisbateman8774 Год назад

      Sorry but I strongly disagree, rims is the best sim for realism. From what I've seen on this game it's only got easier and more arcade like as each tt game has been released. It's been made more beginner friendly as gg has stated.

      Rims helmet cam is also the best there is hands down

    • @thatfirstone
      @thatfirstone Год назад +5

      @@lewisbateman8774 Dude, it's literally the same physics engine as RiMS. It's made by the same studio. The exact same. RiMS is more complex, because RiMS takes into account how the structural properties of the bike;s components change over time. But the physics engine is the same. The depth of simulation is the same in TT3, but it lacks the customization of parts. The difference lies also in the control system, as they've tweaked the way the controller instructs the rider, to help navigate the fast road courses. But again, the physics, is the exact same. Anyway, I've edited my post, to include RiMS. RiMS is a VERY advanced sim which incorporates over 500, real life components, and simulates everything, even down to changing fluid viscosity, and degradation of structural properties like torsion and stiffness. TT3 doesn't have the variance in performance, due to component wear. But the raw physics, is otherwise the same, including the the components being holistically incorporated into the simulation. Remember, TT3 and RiMS, are made by RaceWard Studio. Whereas, TT1 and TT2, were made by a different company.

    It's rider not driver. The graphics are a lot better than their previous title (RiMS Racing). I think they've done very well in replicating the course.
    220km/h? It showed 285km/h! 😊
    Helmet cam is better than in other games. Third person is always better though for bike games.
    Good review otherwise.

      @@humandroid53 No, these are different bikes. RiMS has 2019 and 2020 1000cc stock bikes, which you can modify up to WSBK spec, with real components, matching their real life performance characteristics . TT3 has 2022, 2021 and 2019, fully specd superbikes, as well as 2022, 2021, and 2019 fully specd supersport bikes. And the bikes are built to the real TT specs, so they're blindingly fast, out the box. I've got some proper gameplay in helmet cam, which you can take a look at.

      Its only the Centre of the Island for Now Sadly, Current Snaefell Roads, Laxey Road to the Telephone Exchange Road, part of the Ballacolister Road to South Baldhoon, the Mount Rule, Tholt Y Will, Sartfell, West Baldwin and Bein Y-Phott Roads, and the St John's (1907) and Clypse (1959) Course Roads, but Hopefully they will add some new Roads and Courses, as well as Extra Bike classes, Riders and Machines, via the DLC Cycle Later :)
      I would Love to see them add the 52.15 Mile "Highroads" Course (Start at the Grandstand, down Bray Hill to the Peel Road Junction at Quarterbridge, but turn Left onto the A5 Down to Castletown via Ballasalla and Past Ronaldsway Airport, then onto the A3, back up to Ballacraine, follow the Snaefell Course to Ballaugh Bridge, Left onto the Ballaugh Cronk to the Jurby Road, Jurby Road to Ramsey via Sandygate and St Judes, then follow the Snaefell Course back to Grandstand but Skipping the Governers Dip Extension, Straight on at the Roundabout after the First Right Hand turn at Governers Bridge instead of the Double Right into the Dip.) used in the 1904 Gordon Bennett Trial, when Racing first Came to the Island, at some Point once they add the Roads!, if they do so, as that First IOM Circuit has *never* been in a Game before, would be *Epic* on Hutchie's *bonkers fast* M1000RR Bimmer and all I think!

    I get that this game is ridiculously hard but it's so damn worth it when you get it right. I'm still new and I go nuts if I can finish, even a short race without a crash or even just one or two. But a no crash run in this game feels amazing and no other racing game has made me feel this much "edge of my seat" excitement before. Worth it, even the frustration, get past it and theres no other racer like it

Riding a Honda Superbike 1000RR-R with McGuinness is fantastic. AI better than in Milestone games. Game itself need some patches for slightly better polishing graphics and loading tracks details when riding around the island. Later on September they'll add new bikes from the 2023 season including modernized MotoGP bike which starting this year in iomtt so is a loudly and expensive monster.

Isle of man 2 was a good game and isle of man 3 is not perfect but it is the most realistic and intense bike racing game you will ever play to date. Very challenging and very rewarding. There is a game most people have overlooked that is an in between game where you actually get to personally customize and build your own bike that has a very challenging career mode and offers street races and professional tracks like in moto gp. That is Rims Racing I recommend isle of man 3 and Rims Racing to anyone that enjoys bike racing and to whoever has tried games like Ride and moto gp and just felt like there was something missing.

    Ok so i noticed that there some new comments on here. So ive been playing the first one, ive had it fir a while and recently just picked it up again. But i need some answers. So is there any way that i can change or re-customize my rider in career mode? Or am i stuck using the default gear i made at the start. I've been trying to find out and research but found 0 answers. I keep seeing all these IRL rider loading screen and im stuck with just being a basic bi*ch. Does anybody on here have answers?

    People I bought isle of man 3 as I have been massive fan of the previous games in the series, now i DIDNT like this latest version!!. Now, other reviewers in the past have berated the TT series as not as good as ride 4 and motogp and Rims etc
    I did not agree back then. I rode motorbikes, particularly road race motor bikes and NONE of the OTHER motorbike game series has given me a feeling like the real thing as much as Isle of man TT 1 AND 2 managed to.
    Now these reviewers all said it wasn't as good, didn't "feel real" , control did work right etc etc but you'll notice MOST of these reviewers have never ridden a real bike! They even say it which really should rule out their opinion on "feel" and realism surely?! The problem is they've got good at other racing bike games, and then they want EVERY NEW GAME to work and feel the same as how THEY like them to be. THIS is what they look for and rate for. Often deciding this game does NOT feel real based on this. I would suggest the bikes feel like they are on some sort of rail with no feeling of laying over the bike yourself and more like a "control your speed around a roller coaster" In my personal opinion.
    The bikes feel like you're in some thick mud and have springs holding them upright!!.
    I bought RIMS and was thoroughly dissapointed by it. On easy mode it's too easy and more like old arcade games from the 80s and 90s, on SIMULATED mode there's no way you can judge anything, and it becomes almost an impossible button/stick balancing act. Sure you CAN learn it. You can get good at it, but I argue it in NO WAY ever feels like a real bike.
    Isle of man TT the first game was different. For the first time I got a similar feeling , sense of speed to a bike (and I ALWAYS RIDE on the bike ,RIDER POV , type camera , I'm not interested in the slow feeling easy modes that are outside and behind your rider, this is an important point. I'm looking personally for the feeling of riding not to have a car racing game with a motorbike instead of a car to look at!!. Why bother if this is all you want? You could just remove the car and pretend it a bike!!
    Isle of man tt number 2 managed to refine the first game but I must say , although I was able to get better times on this version it did somehow lose a tiny bit of that original amazing capture of what it does feel like when riding a bike.
    Well onto this latest version. Isle of man tt 3 .
    What a complete disaster for me. Now it feels exactly the same as all the other bike games!!! It has totally lost its uniqueness. And little suprise. The developers if I'm not mistaken are the same team who worked on RIMS and wow can't I feel it. Gone, the feeling of speed. Replaced with a strange high pitched s reaming engine sound and a mediocre moving terrain. Admittedly it LOOKS great! It IS a lot EASIER to ride on board as the RiderPOV , BUT the soul of the game is a dried up husk. It's just terrible for me. I might as well fire up my copy of RIMS or RIDE 4 OR motogp 22 etc , it's the same OLD TIRED RAIL RIDER mechanics.
    LOOK , you can listen to these reviewers if you like, they obviously ENJOY the game as this is. And I must admit, IF YOU like games like Ride ,Rims or motoGP , THIS GAME will be easier to get to grips with, easier to start to get good times etc and enjoy a sense of progress. I'm absolutely in no doubt it will deliver to this type of player. Especially if like this guy on here , you're not a biker, and just enjoy pretending you are riding one in a game.
    IF , however , you're like me and want that feeling of being on a real bike where the scenery is lost in a blurr of wind, dead flies and the smell of oil and petrol searing your brain. If as you enter warp speed and for the second time in as many minutes your heart nearly stops as you again have a near fatal 'off' and your handlebars slap off your tank violently , but you just want to twist that throttle wide open even more ....
    Then do yourself a favour, SAVE YOURSELF MONEY and DO NOT BUY this game. Go buy the first or second version, put yourself in the rider POV CAMERA, and just take note of the sense of speed these two games manage to convey, the way you DONT get that ON RAILS feel yet you STILL get that feeling we bikers understand which is how you have to push over that bike at speed and LIFT it out in corners using throttle and balance . It doesn't just reset itself like you're on a huge spring!!! 😂😂
    I wish I could tell you what these games need to do to get the real sense of biking into these games , if I could I'd be making a fortune and building them myself with .you own games studio , I can't put my finger on what they are doing wrong or right , software wise. All I can tell you is , I miss the feeling of being on race bikes, and only one franchise ever gave me a tiny bit of those feelings back. Isle of man tt games. The problem now is someone saw that franchise and took over , thought they could do a better job, (no doubt cause they thought they had already done one with their Rims game!) They've mingled their DNA with this games DNA and the resulting half breed isn't even HALF AS GOOD.
    IF YOU LOVED IOMTT1&2 DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.
    IF your more into RIDE4 ,RIMS, OR MOTOGP22 and you don't mind those games well I think there's a good chance you'll like this game.
    Though be warned , it has a terrible UI , the seasons and esports side doesn't seem to work, I could only start a custom season in which I would have to set up all the racing calender myself , which I could t be bothered to do!! There was no way to just jump I to a CAREER MODE . The esports events all said "this race event has closed and there was no way to see whether or when the next even would appear.
    Photo mode was great, yeah you can pan , zoom swivel , change gamma and colour add effects and grain or make em look all old and worn but you want to know what you couldn't do???? TAKE THE BLOODY PICTURE.
    God knows why but in photo mode no matter what you did it never allowed any "click" .I had to use the xbox screen capture to take an actual picture after I spent 20 mins setting up a cool scene. A bug obviously , but I mean HOW DO YOU MISS something like that???.
    I played for a few hours. Dabbled with settings and control setups. Tries all the different modes like intermediate and simulated etc. Made sure I used various traction control, brake lock assist and wheelie stopper modes in all their positions (from off to level 3). I searched for some way to make THIS game feel even half as good as the last 2 versions of Isle of man tt but I couldn't get it. In the end I stopped myself. Put on Isle of man tt 2 and played a single lap of sneafel mountain course. I HAD 100% MORE FUN AND 100% BETTER FEEL. it confirmed it. I wasnt imagining it. This version is awful. I turned it off and now I've requested a refund. If the several hours I played hasn't broken some rule or the fact I was thoroughly dissapointed by my purchase and won't ever be playing it isn't enough to warrant that refund, well I guess I'm stuck with the wasted £50.
    Don't you be in the same boat. Don't listen to these pre-bought reviews - the "everything's great" you tubers. They may as well be those fake housewives in the soap powder commercials telling us all "There's no grass stains on my sons white football kit thanks to "SUPEROCLEAN!!!" , just buy it , I did and my life is now complete!"
    Hehehe
    Don't believe em😂😂

      Ride 4 is my all time fav game. Last year my PS4 told me I had around 300 hours on it. Even tho the most fun with bike game I had is MotoGP 2019. Anyways I have almost all bike games out there and if have to give honest opinion I would say TT IOM 3 has best controls among them all. I just started it but I feel I am in control of the bike even on slow speeds and hairpins which in other games that wasn't the case. But is the game worth it...if you are masochist and have all the time in the world yes otherwise stick to the milestone games. I don't regret the purchase but free roam is boring (wish there was traffic)and everything else is frustration overload and endless restart loop .

      As you get used to it it feels more natural and you progress to more complex circuits.

    Ride4 is still miles ahead of this sadly. Animations here are horrible. Rider looks like it has 5 or so pre-set positions to which he switches nervously in a split second. There is no smooth transition from one position to another like a real human being. The graphics are a terrible, blury mess that looks like something from last generation (maybe even PS3 with this terrible bloom). Textures are very poor. 8:18 look at this handlebar and the details on the buttons. This is GTA 3 level of textures and you can tell it's not the resolution because you can read the electronic dash perfectly. A bike game with very little number of bikes that has such poor quality is unacceptable. Lighting is beyond terrible and the brake fluid container is blanked out, instead of transparent and animated, which is pretty much a standard of immersion for Milestone games for the past like 5 years now...Very low quality product sadly, especially considering this is the THIRD iteration of the same thing. There is more innovation between the last 3 FIFA games graphics-wise sadly. Gameplay really can't be good when the bike and rider look like they have seizures due to the poor animations as well. Considering RIDE5 right around the corner, this is DOA.

    • @mrporgmotorsport7822
      @mrporgmotorsport7822 Год назад +1

      The gameplay is actually fantastic. It feels better than the last two games. Sure, the animations are a little bit… interesting. But when you’re running down Cronk y Voddy at 300 kph, it doesn’t matter. And the bike count is low because it’s not ride 4, it’s not a bike rpg. The game has the bikes that take part in the Supersport and superbike classes. I’d like to have seen lightweights and even sidecars, but it’s not the end of the world. I’d play the game before I bash it.
