The BB54 is just about the perfect watch for my 6.5" wrist which I've had for 9 months. I have tried on so many other dive watches from Rolex / Omega / Breitling / Tag / Longines / Oris / Grand Seiko / Doxa / Certina / Squale and more. Nothing else offers the charm, versatility and wearability. Accuracy is outstanding too. Bravo Tudor. (Steps off Tudor soapbox)
Totally the same feelings! I don't wear my rolex since i got the 54! It is such a great watch and easy to wear. So the new 58 gmt and monochrome made me apreciate it even more! Congrats' with the channel! I like the sincere thoughts every time!
It's always nice hearing from fellow BB54 owners and it's great to hear that you're loving yours so much! There's nothing quite like it from Rolex or even close to it from Tudor's main competition. Thank you so much for your support it seriously means a lot that you're enjoying the videos!! I'll give it my all to keep it up😁
My first luxury watch! Swapped out the bracelet for the rubber strap and its my daily watch. Can dress it up or down. Truly versatile and the gilt grew on me. Adds character while not so in your face.

I totally agree with you. Although I really love the gild more than you. I got mine in July of last year and it's such a great watch and wearing experience.
Nice one TWI. I've still not tried or even seen the 54 in the flesh probably because I'm more than happy with my 58. It's great seeing your video of the 54's dial as it looks almost identical finishing to my Pelagos 39 sunburst texture that I also love. Interestingly some YT reviewers berated the Pelagos 39 dial upon release (possibly some of those cut and past reviews out there, thankfully you are not one of them and that's a good thing) anyway I love the look of the 54 and the smaller super light and less retro Pelagos, they are different enough watches that in my opinion can have a place in the same collection if you can afford and justify it. Maybe if I move some of my less worn watches on I'll take a look at the 54 as I'm pretty sure I'll love it but I can't really justify a 58 and a 54.
Thanks for the solid review. I'm currently trying to decide between a BB54, a GMT Coke, and a BB Monochrome, lol. Your thoughts are helpful. Liked & subsctibed.
I have vintage 1665, 5517, 5512, had a 6536.. This gets the most wrist time. Just love it. Revives the true 'tool watch' simplicity with modern material with a movement that for me runs less than +/- 1 second per day when worn.
BB54 is 🔥🔥🔥. The other point I like about it is the snowflake index on BB54 is much small and proportionate compared to BB58. Btw any feedback on the Uncle Seiko extension link? I’m waiting to get mine delivered soon!
I have to chime in and give you some wisdom. The BB54 is my most beloved diver in existence. I love it. But no… there’s nothing that is alternative to your dream Rolex Explorer 36, a legendary ‘GADA’ watch and perfect one watch collection candidate. Your Explorer will come. Add a BB54 while you’re waiting, or afterwards. Don’t give up!
Try the Cronos version of the explorer in the mean time. I thought the Explorer would be my rail watch, after wearing a Kronos version for a few months, I found I didn’t drive with it like I thought I would. Obviously this is an expensive homage, not the real thing, but the style is the same. It’s a good way to ensure you like a watch before springing for the real thing.
To me, despite the bezel, it is a good alternative to previous generations of the Explorer 1. The magic comes from the 20mm bracelet on a 36-37 mm case. I feel the same about the 37mm Hamilton Khaki Expedition.
love the 54. only thing about the BB 58 that throws me off is the size and shape of the crown. I know and respect the historical importance but just not my cup of tea. the BB 54 crown is small yet has high traction
