That's amazing work and it's amazing to me that it's just 13k. I realize that most folks wouldn't pay that much, but that same job would easily cost 2- 3x that in most of US cities. A simple short brick pathway done in 2 days would be several thousand. Hardscaping or landscape design is definitely not something a middle class family would be able to pay for

@TheZitikis Provision Landscapes was the name, from the Liverpool area in the UK. I did dispute it with the bank, shown all transcripts, photos, contract and proof that this company was shoddy once they disappeared. They didn't do anything unfortunately. Slowly recovering from it

Cherry trees around the perimeter and roses underneath and a fountain in the back garden are a great place to start for privacy and beauty, great start!
I remember being a kid and gardens, kitchens and bathrooms didn't need tens of thousands spending on them. Now this is not only normal, it's increasingly seen as abnormal not to spend insane money on these pointless makeovers. You could easily create a nice looking garden for £500-1000.

I live in michigan. I have a backyard similar in size. I had a contractor come out and quote me removal cost for about 8 yards of dirt and level the yard out, and he wanted $7,000. That's just moving dirt. I would say €13,000≈ $16,000 for that amount of work right there was a steal, especially considering inflationary labor pressures @cupra2Jock.

You buy a decent used double wide trailer for that let alone the land underneath it. Have you ever tried to excavate that much turf and earth with a shovel? Where are you going to put it when your done? You’d be digging for days and that isn’t cheap even if you could hire people willing to do the labor. 13 thousand pound is a lot of money. Personally, in terms of design, it’s not my cup of tea. It’s strikes me a bit much, but not outrageously so.

Can some people please bear in mind that not everyone is able to maintain a full flower garden? I’m sure the clients carefully thought about what they wanted and what they can maintain ☺️ I love flower gardens but with 13 hr shifts at the hospital there’s no way I’d find so much time to maintain the dream flower garden. Definitely approved by the client. Some clients request as little lawn maintenance as possible. For example my neighbor is in his 70s, retired, all 7 kids live hours away, and just got out out surgery a few weeks back with another one planned in next months. Maintaining something this small and flat is probably all he would be able to manage. Plus it adds a bit of purpose to his life.
Their work is good,I wish we had people like them here who do such good job. More space could've been given for trees like banana,guava, drumstick, papaya trees and passion fruit and other vegetable creepers.

Good start but think bigger next project and really go for it! This one has a bit too much yard and not enough patio and dining space. Loose the planter box and go for a covered walkway instead. Do a large tree in the center and a generous circular stone seat. Don’t forget a concrete pad on the side of the house for a covered trash bin area with path to the front for easy access!

Good start but think bigger next project and really go for it! This one has a bit too much yard and not enough patio and dining space. Loose the planter box and go for a covered walkway instead. Do a large tree in the center and a generous circular stone seat. Don’t forget a concrete pad on the side of the house for a covered trash bin area with path to the front for easy access!
