Thank you for featuring my great grandfather Albert Horswill. He was a true mariner that loved the sea from a young age. He made over 30 trips aboard RMS Oceanic as a lookout, quartermaster, and able sea hand before being transferred to RMS Titanic for its ill fated maiden voyage. I’m so fortunate that he survived the wreck, proud of him.
My favorite titanic survivor is Shaninah Abi Sa’b, a steerage survivor whose children went on to create the Joy Cone Company which makes ice cream cones that are sold throughout the world. She gave a very detailed account of her survival and worked hard to make a comfortable life for herself and her family in the US.
I love hearing about Titantic.. I cant get enough info on them..I have bought many books about the ship and the deceased .hardly hear about the survivors Thank you for your videos.. I absolutely am hooked and subscribed to your channel
I find it hilarious people actually criticized her for bringing her dog. Like that breed is small enough to fit in her lap. Ain’t no space being taken up. (Also I would deadass do the same thing) Also I have multiple Titanic books on Wattpad. In the first book I decided to talk about Isidor and Ida and put them in the same chapter because I felt like it made sense because that’s how they died. That’s pretty much how much I love their story.
Stumbled upon your channel, I really like it. History & people’s lives are fascinating & inspiring. Thank you for your hard work putting this video together , well done ❤
A fun personal anecdote. At the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee you are given a “boarding pass” with the name and story of a real passenger. (Or crewmember) My first visit I got Reginald Hardwick 1:13:36. In any kind of media like this, I always search for him, so I was excited to hear of him here!
Best museum I have ever been to I have the boarding passes we were given...my son had a survivor boy and I had a surviving woman and husband had an elderly man who passed away on Titantic I only wish the museum would let us take photos during the whole museum not just them taking a group photo on the staircase ..I understand copyright issues but the donors did give the pieces to the museum..I highly doubt the deceased would mind if we took photos
I must agree with Francés Millet…. I too mock women who carry around their little dogs or push them in strollers through department stores! 😵💫😖 love this channel!!
In 1914, four year old Titanic surivor, Mary Joseph, died in a house fire in Detroit, Michigan. Her mother, Catherine, another Titanic survivor, died in 1915 from tuberculosis. The Detroit News article about Mary's death is very interesting. It includes the following passage: "Mrs. Joseph and her two children were steerage passengers on the Titanic the trip on which the boat sank."
Excellent description of the passengers and their mini-biographies. Thoroughly enjoyed the narration. One person you may have missed on the list of those who perished after surviving the Titanic was Archibald Gracie, who died on December 4th, 1912. Gracie died less than eight months after the Titanic sinking, making him the first adult survivor to die.
How cheap could they be. I am sure they received millions for years to come !!! This saddens me. .Celine Dion gave more than them and she sang the famous song ...these celebs should have given more considering all the money they made ...it saddest my heart. I swear I would given every dollar I made to that Survivors fund
The family from Detroit who left their baby in the crib when they left to go somewhere , was that normal to do back in those days ? How awful.for that baby girl...cant imagine leaving any of my children or grandchildren alone ! That baby deserved better. Then to place her on unmarked paupers grave ??? How strange for people to do
For another video, could you please include John Law Hume And Thomas Mullin? There were from my home town. Born a year a part and went to the same primary school.
1:46- Mention of not forgotten passengers (did leave out from the last video), sadly there aren't any pictures of those passengers (11:46, 35:24, 41:14). Break: 11:57 & 34:55 45:35- survivors' lives cut short by post-Titanic (sorry Gracie & Lee from the last video), sadly, there are no pictures of these passengers (48:28, 51:31-51:38, 52:43, 1:03:44, 1:15:54) 1:22:59- Mention of other forgotten passengers leaving off from 1:46 & sadly, there are no pictures of these passengers there (1:23:18, 1:25:01, 1:25:25, 1:25:40, 1:25:51, 1:34:38) 1:39:02- Honored Mention, didn't make the list (one person) 24:53- Descendants of the Strauss family 1:16:58- Descendants of James McGann Error: 12:51- 1957, not 1937. 41:05- the Widener family have three children, not one child (two of their children aren't on Titanic), 1:29:20- (on the left side) Edith Pears wasn't born in 1909 thinking 1889 or 1890... don't know of her birth.

My great grandfather is Albert Horswill, crewman and survivor, he is the first person featured in this video.
I haven't finished the video yet, but I already know the excellent quality you will bring to this content.

Have you read A Night to Remember?
Wonderful channel. Love the kitty 😍🐈 you do a wonderful job with your channel ❣️
Somehow this video seems peaceful and calming. Very nicely done. My compliments!
Must’ve been so traumatic for the ones who survived may they all rest in piece❤🕊️
Very happy to see a part two from you. I appreciate the respect you give while sharing these people’s stories. It’s refreshing.

That's from the first video.
DiCaprio and Winslet gave only $20K between the two of them, for a survivor of the disaster that led to the movie that made them millions. WOW🙄

I found out about Ida and Isidor Strauss being related by marriage to OceanGate guy completely by accident and I think it’s so funny
In-laws of their great-great-granddaughter.
Great job on this!!
This month coincided with the date of the sinking of the Titanic. In a day the 14th-15th day of April will come.
Thank you for all the information.

I hope I can watch live again this time.
Love the kitties❤
My dear, you are a divine auditor. You really should do voice overs and read for audible books… you’re missing your calling.
Thank you. Please leave the photo up asyou speak of each person and put yourself in a small box.
rude haha
@@willelliot8928 haha, not meant like that, it's so we can see the person while she's telling their story.
