Bonnie, you look so relaxed. It is great seeing your smile. The kids look like they are enjoying themselves. Joel, I hope you are getting some much needed rest. Enjoy your time in the warm, sunny south.
I feel like my soul is healing through watching these vlogs, thank you for being a light in my darkness - i can only imagine how healing this is for you, Bonnie
Bonnie my mom passed away 3 yrs ago Feb 4th. Since the day she passed she's been sending me hearts in random ways and places such as a heart shaped cloud and a potato chip etc. I've been having a hard couple days and your videos always warm my broken heart and today my mom sent me a heart through Lincoln on your video ❤ Ty for stopping to see what he wanted to show you...I screenshot this heart to put with the pics of all of the hearts she's sent me. I love you Bonnie ..so very much 💞 All of you enjoying the ocean is my smile for the day. 😊🌴🐠
Thoughts and prayers to you! My mom has been with our Heavenly Father for more than 25 yrs and I still have hard days. My mom sends me signs too. Usually in the form of wheat pennies.
@@sonjahurst9726 That is a long time to be without your mom. My heart goes out to you ❤ I know how special it is for you to find those pennies from heaven 💞🕊💞
Love this! You and your family seem happier and more relaxed than we have seen you in a long time. This trip, and getting away, seems to be just what you all needed. So happy for you all.
When we lived in Florida, our boys were Lincoln's age. We would tell them all the time not to get wet. Never worked! I ended up always having an extra pair of clothes/jacket in the trunk since we'd usually go into town after to hang out before heading home. Miss those times.
My son did the same thing. Get ready for him to grow exponentially fast in this next year. He went from a 8 to a 11 in less than a year and a half. We bought insoles for his shoes. It helped. We went through so many shoes. He went from looking like a 8 year old to a 15 year old. Breaks my heart!
With the shells you guys collected, you should search up diy shell necklaces and see all the cool ideas on how to make them!! definitely a cool keepsake for the kids to have
My brother had a condition called Sever's Disease. He grew out of it, but it caused him a lot of trouble in childhood. He had to wear orthopaedic gel heel cups to help with the pain.
I’ve had very bad growing pains when I was younger, I often woke up at night in SO much pain, I’ve had a lot of sleepless nights with a lot of tears… insoles have helped me a lot, you should buy them!! Even for tennisshoes!! Much love from Belgium 💕
Hi Bonnie & Joel! I also have chronic heel pain from working in healthcare, so I feel for Boston! Try oofos same kind of material as crocs but soo much more comfortable! With arch support and a lot of cushion in the heal! I would be miserable and in tears without this brand of shoes!
I remember being in such pain in my calf and shin area from growing pain. It would keep me awake at night. I remember mom mom coming in and massaging them and praying for me.
Can Boston take anything for the pain That was fun seeing everyone crammed into that small doctor’s room. Great video of the kids picking out sea shells. Lincoln making the public restroom smell wonderful was priceless 😊
Would love to be in Florida right now…I truly do not enjoy traveling, although I have traveled to Florida so many times, by truck, by car, by plane, and RV. I have never travelled as far South as you all are…but you’re making me want to hop a plane for the KEYS! Looking forward to Joel’s parents joining you, what a beautiful amazing gift. So happy to see everyone looking so relaxed, I need that desperately right now:) Enjoy every moment :)
Hello! My son has/had the same thing and our doctor told us it was Severs disease. There are gel pads you can put in their shoes and if they are going to be doing a lot of running she suggested ibuprofen before. It helped him tremendously!
Glad Boston’s not having a health issue. He will feel much better when he has the correct support for his arches. Bonnie, your hair looks so healthy and beautiful!
I mentioned Skin So Soft by AVON last year for Boston's mosquito bites. Buy it in the spray bottle. Sometimes there are AVON stores. My family has been using that for 3 generations. No flying insect should come near you. I am so happy you took this vacation. ALL of you deserve this. 🙏✌💕❤❤❤❤😀😎
Benedryl has a spray that’s super helpful…nooseeums bites itch so bad… My hubs is a fishing guide down here if you’re interested. Not sure if you’re still down here, I know you film ahead. Enjoy the warmth!
My husband and I both have feet issues. I was diagnosed with plantars fascitis as a child. My husband is said to have it, and with special insoles and change of tennis shoes he no longer has a lot of the issues have gone away. We both say crocs are our favorite brand of shoes.
Right now I am 13 years old a couple years ago. I had terrible growing pains in my feet, and I was exactly like Boston. They just gave me some foot pads and said you’re good to go and trust me it does get better if you were there foot pads.
Last fall my 13yo son had the SAME foot pain in the same area for what felt like sooo long! We found out it was the same thing. Literal growing pains!!
There is a really good cream for bites of all kinds called Chiggerex. It is a small white jar with a red lid. I swore by it with all 3 of my kids and have used it for decades. It also lasts forever and doesn't stink!
So glad you guys are having a great time. Sounds like Boston is about to have a big growth spurt, I still remember him as a toddler in his “Hulk phase”. My daughter is the same age and seeing her change before my eyes. Why does time have to go so fast 💔
To help with the no seeums....put on banana boat sport sunscreen lotion. It works wonderful. This is a must have when we go camping. It has to be the sport. It repels no seems, gnats, mosquitoes. Works wonderful.
Bonnie! I am prone to getting mosquito bites too and I have found the Johnson’s “Baby Creamy Oil with Aloe & Vitamin E” lotion (green bottle) keeps the mosquitos away! 😊
Our eldest had growing pains, started in his feet, then moved up into his shins, his final height is 6’ 3”… Our youngest had pain in his feet only, learned that he was flat footed like my grandfather, his final height is 5’ 6”… I’ve often wondered if growing pains are a sign of someone that is going to be tall…
OMG ugh the same thing happened to me when I was Boston's age, they told me I had flat feet and I to wear orthopedic shoes and I was like hell no (don't know why my mom didn't make me lol) and it just kind of corrected it self a bit but I really regret not at least getting the insoles (which I didn't know about at the time) yeah make sure Boston AT LEAST gets the insoles, plus they'll make his shoes so much more comfy and no one can see them!! 💙
Like me, our daughter has always had issues with her feet - until her growth plate closed in her heels, she had Severs Disease. After that, we found that her high arches were causing issues because none of her sneakers gave her enough support. Once her feet were finished growing, we ordered custom orthotic insoles for her shoes, which has made a world of difference. Hope Boston feels better soon!
Crocs provide no support! If he's hurting the first thing I'd do is have him wear something more stable with good arch support! I pray it's nothing serious- just want you to know that it can be more than growing pains. After a childhood spent playing normally, playing soccer throughout high school, running daily throughout college, I finally saw a new Dr about what I called my "stomp" foot walking. Pain all the time. Turns out that I was born missing 2 joints in each foot and over the years the remaining joints became inflamed and arthritic due to them working too much to compensate. It's called tarsal coalition- and if found in young children, is easy to correct. Much harder later on.....
My youngest brother was having terrible pain in his feet at the same age. He had to work cast like inserts in his shoes. When they took the Xrays, they found that his feet were growing so fast, that the bones were separated more then they should,. His feet were having stress fractures.
When my son was around Cody’s age I bought him a pair of Heelys (shoes with wheels). He loved to wear them to the grocery store and would zip around in them. We also go to Disneyland a lot. He wore regular shoes there. He would say that his feet hurt and I would reply with Well of course they do, we’ve been walking around Disneyland all day. Then one night in the hotel room I asked to see his feet. I was shocked to see how inflamed and red his heels were. I took him to a specialist and his growth plates were fractured. I felt horrible for telling him to essentially Suck it up. For an entire year he would be in a cast. 6 weeks on the right foot and then 6 weeks on the left and back to the right . This went on for a year. It’s called Sever’s Disease. Ice and rest works for a short time along with a pain reliever. It took a few years but he no longer suffers the foot pain. Hope he can get some relief
you guys being crammed in the doctors office and being chaotic should not have made me laugh as much as i did 😂 oh boy bonnie, the kids + joel are keeping you on your tip toes 😂😂
I follow that channel on IG and watch the boats go through them. Some of them are SO insane! And people flying everywhere with zero life jackets. That channel literally is survival of the smartest. Haha
I live by the beach in the UK and nothing makes me laugh more than when parents tell their children to not get wet and 5 minutes later… they are drenched! Just kids being kids. 😂😂😂
Im so happy you guys are in my hometown! The traffic can be a little insane most of the time but the memories of the places are worth it!(well sometimes haha) If you go back to the miami area, I recommend checking out south point pier park. On sundays between like 3 and 6 you can watch cruises depart from the terminal and the area is absolutely beautiful! The miami childrens museum is also pretty cool:) Sending virtual hugs!💗
This video reminded me of the time that I saved a little kid at elich gardens flipped over her tube, and went to shore without her kid and we had to save the kid from drowning in the water but then we couldn’t find the mom so we had to go around looking for this kid Mom while she was just chilling without her kid and she even saw us grab her kid and she didn’t do anything about it
Not sure if you guys knew or not but a luffa is actually made from a luffa plant. It looks similar to a cucumber or zucchini but really large. I recently learned this from one of my driving students and had no idea. I thought it was from the ocean. 😮
My son literally was crying last night because his feet are hurting really badly. I think it's growing pains, I'm glad he has a doctors appointment on Friday.

Bonnie you’re such a good little momma! Your children are healthy and happy. Joy to watch you and how you parent ! ❤
