I am new to rc, and out of curiosity i bought a truck off of "lets say a international" online store. For just over 100 bux (Canadian) I got a brushless rtr delivered to my door. It was impressive for its price point and I have had it out for a couple good bash sessions and nothing has broke so far. I have up graded the shocks to oil filled, but not because they broke, and very inexpensive (under 20) For a beginner I think these bargain cars are a great way to see how you like rc, and get some experience working on them without breaking the bank. Cheers
