I knew before seeing the results that grading Silver Eagles and W quarters is risky if you’re going for profit. Most people don’t mind raw W quarters and values are similar graded/ungraded, and Proof Silver Eagles are often worth more in the box than graded PF69. Getting the DDO certified was the biggest win in my opinion, as people who don’t deal in error coins are a lot more willing to buy a certified rather than a raw error coin. I know you did it more for a lesson and preservation reasons which is totally valid and makes this a good submission overall.

You should be able to get at least $10-15 for every W you have. Graded maybe even a few more bucks. Maybe as high as 20-25.
I think I’m going to put some of these up for auction in the near future.
I also have an 82 commem from my childhood that I'm going to eventually send it for the same reason. Just to preserve for sentimental reasons.
