Fall is my favorite time of the year. Even it is still over 30° every day I decorated for fall last week. If I had enough storage I would buy every year a lot of new stuff but now I just buy something that really catches my eye. Love your style and always look forward to your next video.
I do a prefall with rusts and burgundy’s and some dark greens, in late August. In early October I being out the dark oranges and golds. This week I’ll be doing fall inventory. Your color scheme is so calming.

I don’t start my fall decorating for a few more weeks because were in the middle of a heat wave but I love that you’re showing us ideas ahead of time because as we know everything starts out three or four months early lol I did order the garland from Afloral as they had it on sale for 25% off so I can’t wait till it comes to compare it to the stems
Loved your video with all the fall decor. This year I am doing darker tones, I got velvet dark green pillow covers and brown plaid for the living room. I am not doing the bright oranges this year. Love the dark and moody tones 😊

I am not ready for this mood yet - that’s October to me. I will go with “late summer” for August / September - decorating with gorgeous cream, big sunflowers and mauvy hydrangeas from Hobby Lobby. Then the step from colorful summer to fall is more gradual. 😊

Emily, it's all very beautifully co-ordinated. Love, especially that bench idea with those pumpkins trailing down (glued to the scarf) transcading down the bench- leg ; because their is plenty of room to sit down upon it or add a scarecrow pumpkin head later on closer to Halloween, as your color choices are wonderfully curated. Here in Seattle, summer has just hit but in a few weeks, the cold will slide us all into the fall season..
Purchasing a slightly higher-priced item can be well worth it, especially if planning to keep it and work with it for years, and if something starts to fall (hah) apart, it can still be useful as inserts in a wreath or centerpiece. Beautiful results as always!
Yes, some do last longer! Sometimes we pay a higher price just for the name and I try to abound that if I can but sometimes you can’t find a better option for the style.

Im finding this year more difficult because now I have 2 slate blue chairs. I found a couple of plaid things at Hobby Lobby that have blues, greys, and browns, so I'm hoping that helps. I absolutely love those brown pillow covers you shared, but I'm unsure about using them on the dark grey sofa. Any advice? From you or anyone reading this...? 😊
Grey is a neutral so adding in darker colors or light will be just fine. I have a grey sofa and like the way deeper colors look. The darker blue color I would use a pattern you like or a lighter neutral solid.
