    Glad to see a new video here- please keep them coming, Shloime!! I would have loved it if this video were longer. It’s great to see all the wonderful vegetables he uses! For me there would have been a lot of chopping before putting things in the pot. I would’ve like to see if he chops them after they are cooked? We have a local shop where we can sometimes buy beef bacon. It’s nice to have this option. 💕🙏🏽

    What about the "feat"? Mind you I can do without them. We only make it with celery, carrots and parsnip, dill (and chicken). Still tastes great. Lokshyn is good but kneydlekh are better.

    He needs to come open a place in our area! We have very few Kosher restaurants here!
    I have a question and not sure if this is the place to ask. Do Hasidic Jews allow their employees to rest on Shabbat? Our family recently began studying Torah. There is the teaching to allow servants and strangers in our midst to rest on Shabbat. I noticed in Peter’s Shabbat video that the maid was still working and washing dishes after Shabbat began. Out of curiosity, I checked the hours of the few kosher restaurants that we have in our local area, and they are all open on Shabbat.
    Anyway, just curious. Super excited about your channel!

    • @gamerwhiz6847
      @gamerwhiz6847 3 года назад

      Good question, but the maid is not a servant, she's a non-Jewish employee hired to work for them on the Sabbath to do for them things they cannot. They just don't pay her on the Sabbath they pay her afterward.

    • @AbrahamsBridges
      @AbrahamsBridges 3 года назад

      @@gamerwhiz6847 Thanks so much for the reply! 😃
      So, what you’re saying is that the teaching that instructs Israelites to allow their “servants” to rest is referring to a Jewish servant, not gentile servants? And if Israelites are told to allow the “strangers” to rest, wouldn’t the strangers be referring to Gentiles? If not, then who would a stranger be? Thank you!

    • @gamerwhiz6847
      @gamerwhiz6847 3 года назад

      @@AbrahamsBridges No-one has servants these days so it doesn't apply. The housekeeper is an employee so is not a servant nor a stranger therefore the texts wouldn't technically apply I would think.

    Toooo much salt.....in my humble opinion and too little chicken versus the amount of vegetables...feels more like a vegetable soup...and parsley is way better than parsnip...
