When are we going to have a legend come around like Lee again? I maybe shouldn’t wish for that as to put out such beautiful, haunting art he would have to be dealing with a lot down deep, and we could lose him!

While I will always love the long catwalk runway shows, it's possible that buyers, magazine editors, photographers, fashion aficionados & bloggers, might appreciate a fashion show that is out of the norm.
I really wanted the male models to keep up the energy that the women brought to the intro. This would have been a smoking-hot presentation if he had had the male models striking Dior-Galliano-style exaggerated poses.
No, this was great. Dead-pan and creepy and hilarious in combination with the upbeat music (not sure if it’s the same music as in the show). Loved it as it wasn’t too obvious.

the most impressive thing was the opening scene, when the women sat down. very few designs of suits, or jackets are fine. the spectators are better dressed. the whole look impresses, but not in a good way. even the models walk like they're embarrassed. I have seen that most of the collections have a tendency to androgenicity, but I do not see any men's collection highlighting that it is a men's collection. they are wearing the same dresses that the women wore at the beginning of the performance. I can't imagine top business executives or lawyers in court dressing like this. We will have to wait for the commercial result.
Don’t think the target audience is executives and lawyers…. Everyone knows runway shows are there to give the artist a chance to be creative, out of the box and show their own vision in front of an audience, not there to be for everyday “executive” wear…

Appropriate garb in Hong Kong in the summer when it was under British rule. Beyond that, these outfits answer the burning question: "How strange can I be?" Mr. Browne creates the ambience, including the cute bit of comedy at the beginning, and then destroys the ambience with those clashing placards with the numbers on them, or are they part of the outfit? Is the average customer supposed to walk into a chic restaurant carrying a round placard with a number printed on it? If not, then a model shouldn't have to. Surely, some other way could have been found to identify each outfit. Oh, the headgear became bo-o-o-o-o-oring. I'm afraid I quite watching at 7:50. Others may be able to hold out for the full 18 minutes.
The reason the models are carrying placards with numbers on them, is because it is a nod to the Salon Couture show they used to do in Paris (even Coco Chanel would do it) and New York, the models would carry the numbered cards so the couture customers would know which look they would buy, it is an homage to couture, rather brilliant on Mr. Browne's part

Clearly shows how women for decades have been objectified with ridiculous conceptual "fashion". As a man, seeing these male models have to walk down the runway in these infantile getups definitely brought it home. Lesson learned. As for the garments...um..well some nice "Easter" coats and some cool skirts for men. Thankfully I was not there in person as I would have had a hard time concealing my mirth. Those poor models. But before I (or any of us) get too serious about it, it is at the end of the day just clothes.
Thank you for reminding me that in the they are just clothes. I will keep trying to remember that with some of the collections!!🙂
