Tan Songyun is a fantastic and a independent actress. She really works hard on all her projects to get this far. Bai lu comes from a more privileged set up , the company she signed her contract with takes care of her plus i read some where a director friend make sure she gets good projects, also she's got more fan base because of that. So please don't compare the two of them. To me Tan Songyun will always be the best and most natural actress in Chinese drama. People like me are able to see alot of injustice in the entertainment system.
