Earlier this year I had the absolute honor and pleasure of going on tour in North America sharing the stage with Obscura and @DavidDiepold behind the kit.
No need to say David is easily considered to be one of the top modern extreme metal drummers on this planet and witnessing him playing live every night is nothing short of a privilege.
Knowing how big his influence and impact is through RUclips alone is already making me feel so grateful and lucky to be surrounded by the best of the best.
"When Stars Collide" was the last tune they would usually play every night when I was already warming up and dressed for my show so I got attached to this song big time. Enjoy!

I've known David Diepold since his cover of Anaal Nathrakh's Powerslave cover, the fact he does those fast parts with singles is completely beyond me, and especially in the song The Neuromancer, this guy is like a machine of a man built to play extreme drums. He definitely chugs hater tears for breakfast.

no way! Dude this obscura album was so good. Very refreshing change from them. Not such a dramatic shift but enough to make it feel like something new from them and not just the same old.
