I have to say ben, I think what youre doing is amazing. not only are you messing with metal, but you'er doing a great job at it. i've seen people cast stuff before but you take the time to polish it up to 1000 grit, which idk, I like. so yeah. subscribed lol.

I have a question do you reuse the sand or do you need new sand for every cast ?

Engjell Morina some sand that burns he will throw away and the rest i think he reuses. Mostly the ones on top that burn cannot be used again (sorry bad english)

Actually - even the "burned" sand can be reused. If that sand is heated to >600°C while exposed to air, all the carbon will react with oxygen and go away as carbon dioxide. Easiest is to spread out it on a plate (so it gets more surface area to the air and heat it (a little at a time if needed).
After that you will end up with just fine sand, that's pretty much like ordinary dry sand. That can then be mixed with oil again to get new sand for casting (this can be a little tricky though - because you have to use the right amount of oil for the sand to hold together, but not so much that you get a lot of gases and carbon forming, as the oil decomposes from the heat of the metal).
