Dude! You didn't say to put the battery back in! Here's me blindly following your reassembly sequence, got the end, tried to power on, and nothing happens. And there's the battery still laying on the desk! OK, I know I should have seen it myself, but this is my first laptop disassembly and I wasn't exercising much independent judgment. I thought I must surely have just overlooked a step, but no, sure enough, there at 6:11 in the video you move to reinstalling the palm rest while the space for the battery is still empty. So I had to take it all apart again and install the battery. Aside from that minor flaw, this is a great pair of videos and I really appreciate the help. Keep up the great work.
