Minimal Equipment Full Body Workout: 20-30 Minute Daily Routine

  • What I enjoy most about training this way is you can structure it however you want. What I do in this video is just an example...could be more, less, different, whatever...the gist is, I'm treating training (my workout) and movement practice. Not killing myself every session (there's a time for that), rather accumulating moderately challenging volume over the course of several similar (often identical) daily workouts throughout the week. This is a great programming option for times when life get crazy, and/or you have other athletic goals to chase in tandem (for me, it's training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 4+ times a week).

    Workout breakdown (again, just an example...feel free to vary):
    Complete 3-6 times / week
    Warm up 1-4 sets:
    1A) Banded Tricep Extensions: 15-30 reps
    1B) Banded Face Pulls: 15-30 reps
    1C) Kettlebell Romanian Deadlifts (RDLs): 15-30 reps
    1D) Goblet Squats: 15-30 reps
    1E) Hanging Scapula Retractions with a Pull Up: 15-30 reps
    1F) Push ups: 15-30 reps
    Work Sets:
    Upper Body Pull / Hip Hinge Superset (2-3 sets)
    2A) Weighted Ring Pull Ups: 3-5 reps
    2B) Kettlebell Swings: 15-25 reps
    Upper Body Push / Squat or unilateral leg "pressing" movement in this case (2-3 sets)
    3A) Weighted Ring Dips: 3-5 reps
    3B) Weighted Pistol Squats: 3-5 reps
    Carry / Core: 1-2 sets (not in this video...I completed later in the day):
    4A) Suitcase carry: 20-100 yards
    4B) Hanging toe to bar (or ring) leg raise: 1-5 reps

    Hi there I just found your channel and I was watching the one with the titan viking press to do landmine hack squats with so my question is I have a 5 foot bar can I use it on a 5 foot bar ?

    I dont have time, energy pr discipline for a proper daily gym program, so my personal rule is, If i think about pushups i drop what im doing and do 20 of them. If my eyes see one of the many chest expanders, bands etc at my house or at my job, i stop and do 20. Itll never match the awesome intensity of the sessions with my trainer but its a good program for scatterbrained 9-5er like me. Plus i can’t remember the names of half the $$ machines my trainer puts me on

      I dig this. One thing I've grown to feel more and more strongly about is doing whatever you can do (more specifically, WILL do) is infinitely better than doing nothing. There's a time to ratchet up the commitment and intensity, but until then, do what you're doing

      Three Storm Fitness its definitely not ideal but it keeps me maintained so i dont get the backsliders blues and quit my goal altogether. Always looking improve/better my program Thanks i enjoy the unedited commentary while your demonstrating, it doesn’t feel canned like so many fitness channels with the 80’s heavy metal guitar theme lol
