Finally. This was much needed because people have completely went off the deep end with explanations of these prophesies. They just repeat what they've heard instead of reading and studying their bibles.
I'm very thankful for this brother's explanation of Daniel 8 because I couldn't fully understand the proper context and meaning while trying to make a proper connection which is very helpful to me. Still, I'll keep digging!!!!
Whole lot more of no one can agree. Serve Jesus. Let him set who and the time line. Study,Pray,Serve. Ask for revelation of the original plan of salvation, and live it.
A much better way is to accept what the word of God actually says instead of allegorising much of it in order to fit it to your preconceived view. Let the word change your doctrine rather than the reverse.
When Jesus said “this generation “ He was referring to the generation He was talking about, not the existing generation. And clearly it wasn’t the existing generation because Jesus didn’t return before their end!
Hal Lindsey, Tim Lahaye and others have been pushing their' any minute rapture ' theology for years. Constantly revising their little end times charts, redefining the duration of a biblical generation, etc.. Hal Lindsey has revised 'Late Great Planet Earth' so many times, that you scarcely recognize it as the same book. I still remember being at Calvary Costa Mesa with Chuck Smith, when he convinced us all that the rapture was going to take place in 1981, just as his book predicted. Many brothers and sisters were devastated because the rapture did not take place. By the way that particular book is no longer available. In the Olivet discourse, the disciples asked Jesus when the temple would be destroyed, they did not ask Him when the end of the world would be. In fact they did not even know that He would die and rise again, or that He would leave and then return. Also, Jesus repeatedly stated that all of these things would take place within this generation, meaning the generation to whom He was speaking. He even stated that some who were hearing Him would actually be alive to witness these things take place. And indeed, all of these things did take place within that generation, right up to the destruction of the temple in 70 ad. The time we are living in may well be near the end, but the Bible makes it clear that no one knows that day, Acts 1:6+7 6 "Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority". Here Jesus is clearly referring to the time of His return, and the consummation of all things. However, in Matt. 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13, He gives the disciples various signs to look for, because He is not referring to the time of His return, but rather to the end of the age, or the end of the old covenant and the destruction of Jerusalem. We see in one instance Jesus indicates that it is not for us to know or discern, and in the other we ' can' know because of the signs. Also, we see that even as Jesus was about to ascend, the disciples were still anticipating that Jesus was about to set up His kingdom on earth. They finally understood that Jesus would return, when the Angel's stated " Men of Galilee,, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” The Lord will surely return again someday, maybe soon. But just as John 6 states very clearly, as well as many other passages, it will be on the last day, at the last trump, and no one knows that day or the hour. There are still some 6,000+ people groups in the world who have yet to hear the gospel, we should be focused on the work the Lord has given us, rather than on, who the so called " antichrist" is, or when the rapture will occur.
It was prophesied in Ezekiel 38 that an evil thought would come into Gog from the land of Magog's mind that they shall come against Unwalled villages in 70Ad when the Roman Army destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple 66ad-70ad and Masada 73ad the Walls of Jerusalem were also destroyed. Gog is more than one Prince or king of a Nation it was prophesied in Rev.17:12-17 that God would allow Ten Gentile Nations to come against his own land until God's fury and anger had been accomplished. So after 70Ad the Wars commenced in Jerusalem from 115ad through 1967ad the six day war these wars were the great tribulation that Jesus spoke of in Matt.24 these consecutive centuries of Wars were the Gog from the land of Magog Wars. Luke 21:22-24 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. All of those centuries of Wars were God's days of vengeance there is no more days of vengeance just because there are Rumors of wars that does not mean that it will come to pass. Matt.24:21 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. I rather believe " Yeshua HaMasiach Messiah also known as Jesus Christ than believe the News Media Rumors when Jesus said to watch for you know not what hour your Lord doth come he wasn't referring to physical signs of War he was referring to the church being rooted and grounded in the Word of God. Ephesians 6:13-18 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Verse 15 says to have your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace not Looking for signs of Wars. Amen 🙏
@ Sure… the regathering of Israel that is described in Eze 36 and 37 has clearly not taken place yet. If you do a careful read of those two chapters, it becomes apparent that the description of Israel after the regathering has not taken place. For example, Eze 37:23 says once regathered, Israel won’t defile themselves anymore and that the Lord will be their God, but Israel today has not returned to the Lord. Also, Eze 37:26-26… the Lord’s sanctuary and tabernacle are not in their midst yet, and v28, the nations clearly do not know that the Lord has sanctified the nation of Israel.
This is another version of replacement theology where the Gog and Magog wars has already happened with the Romans and Christians has now replaced Israel. What bs.! God's prophesy tends to be repeated and now refers to the return of Jews to the Holy Land involving all the tribes of Jacob and not only Judah as after the Babylonian exile. This opinion is really confusing believers and antisemitic. Crap and trash!
Not at all confused. This is excellent biblical teaching. To the person who is indoctrinated with the man made doctrine of Premillennialism and Dispensational Premillennialism the easy thing to do is dismiss it as nonsense and Replacement Theology.
Revelation 1:1 "Shorty come to pass," means exactly that. No room at all for any postponement. Immediate. Right away. You cannot make it mean anything else.
@@larrymcclain8874 According to Rev 1:10, God transported John to a future time (the Lord's Day) for the revelation that he recorded in the book. Besides, the events in Revelation have not yet happened.
@R-H-C-3 Absolutely impossible. The Greek word, "tachei," translated "shortly" allows zero postponement at all. It means that it is immediate, not 2K years later. Sorry, but you are incorrect.

Very confusing. Sorry I listened. Very sketchy application of prophetic verses. Beware of deception. I’m watching and waiting. ⌛️👀🔜🙏🏽

This is false teaching from a denomination that thinks Jesus is currently reigning from David's throne in Jerusalem.
