If God is not going to create a new heaven & earth, what does Revelation 21:1 mean when it says: "Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away," and verse 2 where it says: "Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." What do these verses mean if not a new heaven & earth? I would greatly appreciate your advice on this because these are some of the verses, I get push back on and since I am a baby Christian, I am not confident in my responses.
