I’m one of those dummies who needs to have prophesies explained to me slowly and carefully or I don’t get the whole picture. I love the way that Graig Laurie keeps this simple enough that even an idiot like me can understand the messages from God through the Scriptures about what to expect in the future. I am living in the autumn of my life in Peace with my Savior, Jesus Christ, our Father in Heaven, and the wonderful Peace and guidance of our Father’s Holy Spirit. YES! In Ezekiel 38, the Hebrew literally says "rosh" (prince of) Meshech and Tuval, which were places in central Turkey! (There is NO OTHER COUNTRY MENTIONED THERE).

The letters to the Seven Churches will never make sense until you put the strength Jesus speaks about each church into the context of the seven spirits of God in Revelation 5:12 - power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessing. Sardis had a name that they were living for the Lord, but were dead. Why?
Because in "having a name that they lived", they chose to receive honor from men and turned from living to receive honor from God. As Jesus said, "How can you believe, which receive honor one of another, and seek not the honor that comes only from God?"
Sardis' problem wasn't "cracks in the foundation ", it was living to look good before the heathen around them.

- not heard of Mr Renner (ministry ) b4. To me this is a brand new interpretation of Ezek 38. I find it hard to accept . ( Why mention th myth of King Midas & Th gold ?). What does he say re- Gog & Magog in Revelation?

I greatly appreciate this video and how it was presented with history but also actionable insights for our lives. But about Gog and Magog...I think what many Christians on both sides of the identity debate miss is that many of the people groups in Scripture moved to other areas over time.
For instance, the people of Tarshish did inhabit Spain. But today, that same people group inhabits Mexico, Central America, Peru, Argentina, Texas, Southern California and so many other places around the world.
Turkey seems to have been "grand central station" for many of the Japheth people groups in early history. But in time, many of these nations expanded and moved to other regions. Some westward into Europe. And some northward into what is now Russia.
So it could very well be that the land of Magog WAS the land of Turkey, but that people group now lives elsewhere.
Just thought that would be an interesting possibility to consider.

Why does the King James Bible speak of Magog the prince of Rosh? And the Jews say that Rosh in Hebrew means Russia. Can you please just give me the answer in a reply? I'm just confused now
“Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:” So Gog is a person and Magog is the land he comes from. He seems to be in charge of a large area but if the chief prince translation is correct there must be other important power brokers as well. Reading this verse you wonder whether he is in charge of Magog at the time he is stirring things up. Josephus said Magog was the land of the Scythians. Google “Herodotus Scythians map” and look at the images. Herodotus was a geographer back near the time of Ezekiel.
In Hebrew rosh means head or king. Think of the holiday Rosh Hashanah.

The NEW King James Version has it wrong, most other english translations have it right - chief prince of Meshech and Tubal (or Tuval). The NEW King James Version says "prince of Rosh, Meschech, and Tubal", which is completely wrong. Look up the Orthodox Jewish translation on Biblegateway - ("nazi rosh" literally means "prince of" Meshech and Tubal). The Christian Reformed Bible Footnotes say Meshech & Tuval as known places in central Turkey, which is directly north of Israel on a map, just as Ezekiel describes. No other country starting with the letter "R" is mentioned there at all! The New KJV is wrong.
Where in your KJV does it mention Magog the Prince of Rosh? The only use of Rosh in Jimmy is Benjamin's son. (Genesis 46:21)

Of course, I wonder if Renner would be able to operate out of Russia if he pushed Gog, Magog as Russia 🤔 it’s telling he does not go into Rosh or the fact Magog=Scythians (Josephus), Kremlin has a special recognition of Scythians as part of Russia’s origins. Maybe it’s part of Renners preservation of a niche market in Russia
Dude, no matter how hard you try to explain it away, Magog is indeed Russia. Josephus (1st century historian) identified the Magog people group as the ancient Scythians. These people lived in an area which is modern day Russia. You are right about meshech and tubal-it’s Turkey.
There is a very large consensus on that. Those 4 places all are in today's Turkey , Asia Minor.
This Gog and Magog revelation is very interesting! In Ezekiel 38: 2-4 it says that Gog is the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal! The area of Tubal is known as Turkey! If this is correct then Gog could very well represent the leader of Turkey and Magog represent the area of the country of Turkey! If true this changes that the hook in the jaw, in this revelation would bring the leader and the area of the country of Turkey into leading these other countries into an invasion of Israel 🇮🇱 This possibility does make sense with the leader of Turkey threatening to invade Israel now with his army recognized as the third largest in NATO!

Sometime in March a couple of women came knocking at my door as always people inviting me to church I asked on what days your church worships and as always on Sunday 😔 and I know that it's false teachings ‼️ before Jesus Christ was crucified at the Last Supper he gave his disciples his commandments that they were to keep the Sabbath day Holy Saturday not Sunday 😞 including the Passover 🙏🏻 and that Jesus Christ would come a second time from the east with a new name 🙏🏻📖to teach everyone to the ends of the world.

Sardis is modern day Sart in Turkey. l found out all my stuff in an Archaeology study bible. l just have decent study bibles. Also, if you look up these names on Wikipedia you will see what there modern day names are.
I live in 7 churches region and converted when I was 19-20 after my deep researches on Jesus. But the main interest of me on Bible was with the help of Christian Americans who visited the region . So many visitors prayed for me during my high school years putting their hands on me hoping that I am chosen and be saved one day in future. I also need to note that I am a crypto Christian in daily life because of the social pressure. Foreigners with other faiths are wellcomed , but not converts.By the way, Sardes is the city where money was invented. And in Laodicea you can experince the hot water mentioned in the Revelation

The KJV of this text is false. The original manuscripts state in Ezekiel 38:1-6, "Yehovah's message came to me: 'Son of man, turn toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief (in hebrew" ro' sh meaning the head, whether literal or figuratively as the principal ruler) prince (in Hebrew "nasiy" or "nasi" which means an exalted one, i.e., a king or a sheik, and by implication in reference to this endtime prophecy the muslim caliph which numerically equals 666, as a rising entity, governor, prince, ruler) of Meshech (son of Japhet, and peoples descending from Japhet living north of Israel) and Tubal ( a postdiluvian patriarch abd his posterity). Prophecy against him and say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD ( Yehovah) says: Look, I am against you, Gog, chief prince (ro' sh nasiy) of Meshech and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks on your jaws, and bring you out with all your army, horses, abd horsemen, all of them fully armed, a great company ( group, confederation or manny proxies) with shields of different types, all of them armed with swords and helmets. Persia (modernday Iran), Ethiopia (Cush), and Put ( son of Ham, also the name of his descendents or their region, and of a Persian tribe living in Libya) are wuth them, all of them with shields and helmets. Some falsely translate this passage as" the prince of rosh" but as quoted above from the original manuscripts it must read "the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal". What this false translation "prince of rosh" actually says is "prince of chief".... So, attempts to identify these proper names with later geographical sites in Russia are nit only anachronistic, but ridiculous. Meshech and Tubal were two nations in Cappadocia of Asia Minor (modernday Turkey) from where the biblical prophesied Anti-Christ, a muslim caliph) will arise, accompanied by muslim kings, rulers of muslim nations or regions...This seven nation islamic coalition represents the north ( Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, Beth-Togarmah), the south/west (Ethiopia, Put) and the east (Persia, modernday Iran). The use of the sevenfold list suggests completeness.... So, the Anti-Christ, and leader of the antichrists, will emerge from Turkey as their newly appointed caliph. Again, the numerical value of "o'caliph" is 666....Either Erdogan or his successor will become this prophesied caliph....
