@@SeniorSusieStamps Lol, true it is a zoo. 3 cats. Missy and Mittens, sisters and Little Frankie. I guess they are his aunts. Our old sweet dog, Ritter, we call Pop Pop because when he was younger he would meet my husband at door, popping up and down. Lol.
Super cute!! Those kitty stamps are adorable!! And today I learned that you have 2 cats! I don't recall hearing about Snickers but I love hearing the story of how Snickers gets a can of tuna every day or she throws a fit! Fur babies are the best and deserve to be spoiled for sure! I love the use of the drywall tape. So far I ah e refrained from picking up a roll but oh the possibilities! ha ha! Thank you for sharing this cute card!
@@SeniorSusieStamps hahaha! I will a happy recipient of some! Thank you!! Since the mail service sucks, hang onto it til we meet up! I will come up with something fun to swap with you! :)
Such an adorable card, Julia!❤ We definitely love our cat fur-babies, and spoiled, oh yes!! But, I wouldn’t have it any other way. They have brought immense love and joy into our lives. ❤😻
Super CUTE!!! LOVE your attention to details, like the dotted/dash line, flower centers (front vs. back), and cat's nose. I've owned many cats thru the years. One was a calico. Have a GREAT week!!!
Hi Julia, I had no idea that there was an international cat's day. I wonder who makes up these days where we can celebrate a plethora of people, animals or causes. 🎉 I am not a cat person... but how cute are those stamps, and they work beautifully together. You were very lucky to find them and add to your huge collection... LOL! 🤣 I enjoyed watching your colouring technique with the cotton bud (aka Q tip!) as I have never seen that before. I must try and remember it when I make a card with a cute animal... although for me it would have to be a koala. 🐨 I often draw the freehand border around my cards especially if the cards are not too busy or have coloured layers. I find it fun not being perfect and adding random zig-zag lines. When I first started making cards, (what seems like 100 years ago!) I would always draw neat borders using a ruler and I suppose at times that is nice, but my go to now is definitely freehand. God's blessings, love and hugs. 🥰☕🍰🌷❤
Hi Gloria - LOL I was really having brainfade as to what to do with the August calendar committment. But I think International Cat Day saved the day! Now I just have to find a printable calendar and figure out how to finish the 5 x 7 format. Blessings to you My Friend!
They did turn out cute! I thought perhaps it was a bust idea, but then all of a sudden they came around. I like them finished out with the Hero Arts alpha stamps C A T that I added later. Have a lovely week!
Thanks Susan - I thought it might be fun to do some more International Days throughout the year, just to give folks some theme ideas. Happy Canada Day to you!!!
Cute card! Love you will be using them on your calendar assignment. My two kitties (1 black boy and 1 gray girl) are being very good today! Makes me wonder if they are saving up for extra mischief tomorrow. Thanks for sharing with us.
Yay! August! My birth month and love cats!😸 We love fur babies!💜💚
You hit the Jackpot!! We have 2 Snickers and Cordelia. And our 3 dogs of course...it's a bit of a zoo!!

That is such Truth Gigi! And I always thought if you couldn't spoil them you shouldn't have them. But we may go a bit overboard...maybe...LOL

Our sentiments exactly on that’s why we have them! Lol…that might be true! 😻
I love the squiggly line borders we used to do more often. Makes a darling border😁 Very cute card Julia🐺🦊
Thanks Betty - That oldie but goodie border just works doesn't it?!

I have to agree on how cute your card turned out especially coloring the cat with a Q-tip (great thinking).
Thanks for sharing your card.
Thanks Terrie - I think it looks better since I added the C A T images to the front.

Oh thank you Sybil - I added the C A T stamps later. And to me they just finished the card.
Hey Julia. Hope your good. How adorable are those stamps. Great card. Look after you
❤
Thanks Linda - Hope you are doing well also. Those 2005 stamps are hard to beat. Being rubber they stamp like champs!
Love the kitties😂
Thanks Roxanne those are actualy Fluffles not Fluffies I misspoke - count on me to do that once in a while! LOL
Your cat card is so cute! Glad to see your drywall tape come out again to use on a card, love it.
Hi Helen - Thank you. Drywall tape is the perfect solution in some cases. You just can't beat it!
Too cute

How cute is this card?! I like how you added those squiggly lines around the card, really adds interest. Thank you.
Thanks Ellen - That is such an easy way to finish a card edge when you don't want to do a bunch of layers. You just have to have a lose hand...
Super cute card! Love your creativity.
