On first look, the MV-22 Osprey may seem like something from the imagination of a small child. The wide body, wings, and giant rotors make for a unique and versatile aircraft. The Osprey isn’t simply an upgrade on an older aircraft, but it is completely new. Part helicopter and part plane, the Osprey is a tilt-rotor, short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL) aircraft. The versatility of the Osprey allows it to be deployed in a number of different roles including air support, troop deployment, casualty evacuation, and search and rescue missions.

I LOVE the Ospreys. They are my favorite helicopters (or plans but mostly helicopters). I didn't know Ospreys existed until I watched Transformers (The first movie) and I didn't know they can tilt their rotters until I saw Transformers Dark of the Moon. And I just immediately fell in love with them. I really hope that someday in the future, you could release or put the Osprey in an instruction book.
That’s a seriously impressive model. Just wow. The Osprey is not one of my favorite aircraft, but I hope it sells well for you guys. That way, I’ll feel like we’re one step closer to a Cody-designed MH-53/CH-53! Love to see one with this level of detail.

Very cool! I used to work in production flight test for the Osprey. It's turned into a great aircraft over the years. They naysayers typically know nothing about the aircraft...like us that built, test, fly and maintain it!

If and when you guys obtain the Boeing license, I hope this can get released as the U.S. Air Force's Special Operations Command CV-22 Osprey variant. I see these birds flying often in my neck of the woods and really want one in Lego form!
Osprey falls under Bell's licensing, which another brand currently has an exclusive rights. We hope some day we'll be able to produce these again!

If only there was a way for you guys to keep making these, Idk much behind the copyright side of things but I wonder If you could just name it something else "Legally distinct" and slap it on the model to still be able to sell the set. Also I don't get Bell & Boeing like if they want money can't they just ask for a % of each sale? that way they get something out of it.
A licensing agreement would solve any legal issues with the trademark owners. We hope to obtain one for this model, but until then we're not allowed to sell it.

Oof 900 bucks. Don't get me wrong their sets are brilliant but oh man their prices are high. I totally get it just a tad out of my reach. I'll own one of their sets some day.

So it looks like you have most of the flying craft from the WASP done. Are we going to see the landing craft next?
Laura Thomas LCAC is in the works, but a kit is questionable
Oh yeah, I forgot about the Wasp project. That means a CH-53 is likely on the agenda! I hope Cody gets that assignment, and that he finds a creative solution for recreating the windshield panels. To me it is one of the most disntinctive features of the 53 (particularly on the E model, which has the big lower panels). If that Brickmania model ends up with a one-piece windshield like the H-60 kits I will be heartbroken. Personally I think the E model looks better IRL, and I also think it fits better with the Wasp-class. The K model pairs with the America-class.

Cool vehicle but the link doesn't work. Went to your website and you have a osprey for almost $1,000. Why is it almost $1,000?
Because these are low-volume production runs and they have to cover their development costs. The version in this video sold out, and they recently updated (redesigned) it. The new licensed versions (USMC and USAF) are $1,345+, but both of those also sold out. You're welcome to custom make your own, including custom printed parts and minifigs, if you want to save money.
