Condition will influence price as well as the manufacture date. These are Coleman but AGM built stoves for WWII in 1941-45 also. I hate to speculate on prices because I’m usually wrong ,
One recently sold on eBay for $125 that had several dents. The previous sale of a very nice example sold for just over $500 Its really hard to give valuations without seeing something but maybe this will answer your question. There are very few of these stoves and auctions always surprise me........If you have one you are very fortunate.....great piece of history that is still usable today.
I have one of those stoves it the army green it is still in the original box although it's showing its age I got it a garage sale 40 plus years ago it was hardly use the man said he was in the same platoon as Audie Murphy an they used Audie's all the he said Audie used his for everything from cookin to sterilizing things Great video I enjoyed it I really liked old Coleman stuff
@@DadGoesCamping yeah I've use it didn't times I have several different types of Coleman stoves I've used it to cook on really just to say I used I keep it in the box really just some thing I have I don't get rid of hardly anything
Alot of guys don't realize the 41 painted Coleman 520 is more rare than the nickel. I waited years to add one to my collection. Mine is NIB Unfired, We're talking Unicorns!
Yes, the painted 1941 is VERY rare. I think the nickel version gets more attention because there are more of them out there. I wish we knew the exact production numbers for the painted version. Congrats on having a great piece of history.
@@DadGoesCamping Thanks and BTW nice Video! That battery heater hiding in the background is no slouch either! I've had many of the stoves but that heater cannister has eluded me forever! James
The battery heater is the only one Ive ever seen with the canister. IMO these 520 series stoves are very under-rated. Incredible to think they are 80 years old and still very practical
If you have one of these stoves please let me know.
Tell me, will the primus work on pure kerosene?
What is the value on theses stoves

I should have been more specific the 1941 Nickle value
