Hey I was enjoying ur video, watching it before I tackle mine. One question is that the original tank? If so mine is not. Ty

Thanks for watching! Yes it is the original tank. The Speed master stove has a couple variations. They were either painted or nickel plated. I have another video on my channel of a restoration of a nickel plated one.

@@MrVintageRestoration good afternoon, my name is Wade, I sent an earlier email this morning but was unsure if you received. I didn't want to much time to go by because I just wanted you to know I'm very serious about having my stove restored. I should be receiving my stove by Wednesday, so if it's o.k. I could send you a picture and hopefully, maybe we can have a discussion about your time and schedule and about costs. Thank you for your time.

Hi Wade, I didn't receive the email. mr.vintagerestoration@gmail.com
I'm happy to chat with you about the stove. I do take customer work from time to time although not often. Mr. Vintage is my side gig, in addition to a family and full time job. That being said I'm happy to talk with you about your Coleman 🙂

Mr. Vintage, I totally understand and it's why I wanted to to be considerate of your time . I was just really impressed not only with your video but by the focus and expertise that it took to get to the finished product. So before it gets too late, if it's o.k. when the stove comes in , I'll send you a picture and hopefully we can get to the next step. Have a pleasant night ! Thank you.

Thanks so much for the watch! This stove is a 1953 Coleman Speedmaster. They've value varies on where you find them, condition, fired vs never fired, Restored unrestored and so on. This exact stove is for sale on eBay right now $170 OBO. It's in the right wheel house based on what others have sold for

Thank you. Also thanks for being a content producer. It’s not easy to get in front of a camera and explain the things you love and why.

Thanks @@evelbill1439 ! I've had a great time doing it. Restoration is my passion, and I'm glad it shows through. Thanks again for watching, don't forget to like and subscribe. We've got some new content on the way. Unfortunately like a lot of content creators, I still have a straight job and a young family so I get behind from time to time. 1. Use the correct size wrench. Crescent wrenches do nothing but distort nuts. 2. Penetrating oil, always.
