@@francescog53550 COGS is significantly higher than just material cost. The development of these had a cost, too. Companies tend to set a specific profit margin and then set MSRP based on that. $750 or so for the 8 is absolutely fair. $1k for the 12 is absolutely fair. You're looking at roughly $500 for the ZLX, bmwhich has lower grade components than the Everse and no onboard processor, no app control...etc. There's nothing on the market that comes close to it. The Wave8 is significantly more than the Everse and, while it has the wireless thing, it doesn't have app control.
This shows the power of marketing😊 the zlx g1 was rated at 127 decibels and if you look in the forums everybody complains that it clips too early and wasn’t loud enough…add a battery and it’s perfect….lol. No gripe on EV, I thought the zlx were okay. I have a elx 12 sub that pairs really well with the everse 8.
So basically some Bluetooth modules and a lithium battery were enough for a ZLX12p to jump from 400 bucks to 1000.

@@AaronStrawnAnd Everse 8 has the same thing, but in fact many owners write that it is 2 times less. And this is with the same 86.4 wh battery.
@@georgchekinoff239 I can confirm. I have the Everse8 and the battery dies FAST at max volume. Like maybe between 1-2 hours.
