I wouldn't mind hearing Eddi Reader sing this song, also I came to this tune from a Russian translation sang by a man whose voice reminded me of Gordon Lightfoot, which now want me to hear Gordon Lightfoot sing this song.

Easy to be unkind, but she has lots of passion, has done well. if you hear the edits of all the famous artists you like they dont always sound good.Nobody should try to be the original anyway, a cover version is not the same.
