@@RathalosWatch I love that in the 4th generation they actually tried to revamp it by giving it those new moves with the Konchu, another adorable monster that resemble bowling balls

If he doesn't come back I might genuinely be a bit mad, he needs a makeover to his moveset to make him different from aknosom, who is a very similar monster, also blue yain kut ku I think should have a different element or a status
I am of the opinion that aknosom was kind of just an upgrade to kut ku in every way. Does that mean I don't want kut ku back? Hell no! They can easily give him more moves and interactions to keep his silly personality and have him stand with aknosom as an alternate take on the early game fire bird. One is goofy and the other is graceful... And still a bit goofy too but less so. I wouldn't dislike seeing both of these fire birds in the same game but they can alternate and that would be really nice. Another benefit to kut ku returning, one that some may see as a negative I realize, is to bring back his favorite food known as conchu. The strangest thing about him not being in 5th gen is that yian garuga went without him. They implied that they aren't sticking to things as strictly anymore, like the old world map we use to have from the Monster Hunter Encyclopedia book 2 from 2006. In an interview for Monster Hunter World, the team stated that the reason there are maps in game at our bases or in the 3rd quarters you can get in the base game on the wall, that don't match the map we have in the screen where you can choose a map to go on an expedition is because the maps in the bases are the real map of the New World and the map we interact with is roughly only half of the continent. This wasn't widely circulated information. I believe this interview was in a Famitsu article near World's release when journalists over there had the game and could find those maps for themselves.
