Solely on how much hair is added. It may give the appearance of thinning when in reality the extensions are just thicker than your natural hair. It’s seen when people go for volume over length.

Loving the video. I got my microlocs extension seven months ago. I have not tried to do the retwist myself, but your video makes it look easy.
Wish I’d seen your video before I completely removed my locs, now I’m on the journey of restarting all over bc I missed them terribly 😢
I used this same hair as well and wanted to know how long do I keep the extensions in before cutting them out?
