    I'm glad someone is doing this! I've always wanted a good quality game about cranes and there surprisingly just aren't any.
    I'm also thinking about making my own crane game but I don't really have too much coding knowledge. I wonder if the issue with the claw picking up the object could be solved by making the claw "sticky"? Like once it touches an object it becomes weakly attached to it and stops closing further. This might solve the issue of it popping away as well

      That's good to hear, I hope the game ends up being the quality you're looking for!
      To be honest my coding knowledge isn't the greatest either, so if you want to do it I'd say just start making something and stuff will come to you as you go. And thanks for the suggestion, I briefly tried making the claw 'sticky', but I didn't really like the game feel of it. The good news though, is that the issue is pretty much fixed now. I go through it in a bit more detail in the next devlog, but the gist of it is that the 'rope' was too rigid, which was causing an issue with the colliders.
