You'll understand Ren more on a personal level if you react to his 1 million subscriber defining success video. This one was Inspired by Animal Farm, Clockwork Orange and Lord of the Flies. Beat inspired by Kanye's Black Skinhead. Ren is a dystopian literature fan and film buff. George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, Stanley Kubrick. He loves the plight of the anti-hero. Like Tony Montana in Scarface. You'll find certain things in most of his music. His mental and physical health. 😮How greed has plagued society (politics, religion, consumerism,). Industry (pharmaceutical, music, large corporations, monopolies). The hierarchy, Shephards and sheep. All of that is in this video and many others. It's easy to see once you're more familiar with him. If you react to Eden, a lot of what he stands for is in there. (it was part of the Money Game series that followed his crazy week of fan interactive puzzle solving. He's passionate about it. His illness is referenced in every song although it's hidden in many of them. Every word, everything has a purpose with Ren. People call him a musical genius. I don't know about that, maybe. But what I see is that Ren is a visionary with music, every aspect of music. He sees things the rest can't.

The only thing I've gotta say... is only someone like Ren with a pure heart and genuine soul could have THIS MANY FRIENDS willing to dress up and do a one take music video for his profit. That's serious love.
Animal Flow was shot in the same building as Violet's Tale. In Violet's tale he's at the bottom of the stair well, looks up and sings "She never stood a chance" with that haunting echo. In Animal Flow he starts in a flat upstairs and works his way down the same staircase. Two different points of view within the same space. Very cool.
Different staircase - the one he goes down in Animal Flow doesn’t go any lower. The other stairs I think are if you leave the flat and turn right instead of left. Not sure as I’ve never been there but I worked out the internal layout from what’s in the videos and comparing it to the building in Google maps view ;)
"Seven Sins" is another really great one. Also, if you want him to add yet another layer, try "Back on 74 / Message in a Bottle - Retake"

@@AroundTheWay_Jay There are so many references that its hard to catch them the first time you watch this. The main point you will discover is that Ren really likes Stanley Kubrick movies. White suit and black cane like leader of Droogs gang = Clockwork Orange/ Bike in the hallway chased by wild animal = The Shining/ Dog with sheep on a leash as his submissive = Eyes Wide Shut.
The beginning shows Animal Farm rules for animals: 2 Legs bad, 4 Legs good. There is also an animal rule that animals would not drink alcohol like men. At the end of the video, Ren grabs a glass of wine and says there will be no mercy under his rule, because the rules for both animals and men don't apply to Ren, so when Ren goes out onto the street he stands on 3 Legs as the leader of both animals and men.

The majority of the rules are broken in the video-Which is honestly very in line with the story.

If someone hasn't mentioned it, Ren did this all in one take. Amazing camera work. Also, on a small budget, Ren had to improvise. He grabbed a bunch of friends for the shoot and pillaged the neighborhood for foliage to stick on the walls of the apartment. This video is riddled with so many Easter eggs like the Mary Mary Quite Contrary part has a German Shepherd leading a lamb. He uses the phrase Shepherd and sheep a lot when he talks about Society in his music. BTW, I loved your new video intro.
A follow-up with Ren's acoustic Animal Flow would be terrific. Can you fathom how he took this EDM beat and put it into an acoustic guitar version?
