The link below will take you to our latest SONG. It's an ALL MIGHT RAP called “I “Got It”. Thank you so much for watching! ruclips.net/video/ACw6zbmHbE0/видео.html
Just an FYI brother, Ren Pin's all his bars in the comments section to help anyone see exactly what his rhyme scheme is in case you missed anything. Cheers man, looking forward to more..
You’ve received a beautiful comment from a Martin Gill. That’s REN’s dad. I don’t know either of them, I’m just a huge fan of REN’s music and I also have the same physical conditions as he does, so naturally I’m in awe of his ability to express the experience with such incredible clarity, truth and power- it’s been quite a healing and empowering experience. I’ve been binging on Ren reaction videos to glean further insights from the perspective of others. I really appreciate your take, helped me understand new aspects of his technical abilities and diversity, thank you. I’ve spotted REN’s dad, Martin Gill, only a small handful of times leave a comment when he really appreciates something about a reaction video. Just thought I’d point it out in case you didn’t spot it (he’s not too shabby a musician himself). Looking forward to checking out more of your vids now!
Everyone keeps talking William Shakespeare but I could see Jerzy Grotowski and Antonin Artaud peeking out at me through Ren's work behind Bertold Brecht, who, of course, was standing up front taking all the glory. I've been looking for someone to say that to. Not a lot of that kind of thespian in my part of rural Australia... So looks like you're the guy! Do you know the work of Rudolf Laban and Yat Malmgren? Cos I could swear Ren does.
@@mikenicholas9017 Artaud and theatre of the absurd was my specialist subject at university and Brecht was one of the greatest theatre writers and directors. His use of alienation is obvious in Rens work. It’s in many of the films I produced and wrote with prisoners here in the uk. Ren was around Grotowsky based movement and sound work with his mum and I during his childhood years so he probably was influenced through osmosis. I was Laban trained too so I’m very impressed by your observation and insight! Rens mum Pauline Down played in Frank Weidekins play with the now famous director Danny Boyle.
This kid is doing things no one else is. His capacity to flip the switch on flow, cadence, speed and tone is astounding. He is a wordsmith doing it with sounds and beats that are UK not USA. So refreshing to hear a rapper flexing his ability and his story instead of trying to flex his wallet and crew.
Over heard of a rapper that bust he started in 96 and dropped his last project in 2020 is kinda like that can speed up faster than anyone slows it down writing off the charts I know some just call him Barshall
In my 51 years I have never seen another artist with this diversity of genius level talent. From Wikipedia-- Ren Genres: Hip hop, Pop Rock, Reggae, World Folk Funk, Soul, Country, Acoustic Alternative, Rock Indie, Pop Drum and Bass, R&B, Spoken Word, SkaNu, Metal Electric, Blues, Gospel Ren Occupation(s): Musician, Singer, Songwriter, Music Producer, Rapper, Performance Artist Ren Instrument(s): Guitar (acoustic and electric), Bass, Drums, Piano, Marimba
First Ren reaction video I've seen that actually covers the intricacy of his bars. I understand it's easy to be blown away by Ren, however, I've been waiting for a while for someone to actually talk about his schemes. Thanks man, wonderful video! :)
He usually put the lyrics to his songs in the description. Great reaction and insight. I think REN’s having fun in this one showing off his lyrical gymnastics.
I really enjoyed your more technical observations of this song! As someone who doesn't fully understand all of the technicalities of what makes rap great, you did an awesome job explaining it! Definitely gained a new subscriber!
@@fourcornersofbrightonand do the regular Genesis video followed by the live acoustic Genesis to show how insane he really is 🙌 The beatboxing seals the deal for me 🔥
Ren is, by all accounts, a fan of dystopian literature. Orwell's 'Animal Farm' may be the inspiration for the pigs but as an artist he doesn't have to explain himself! I enjoyed your knowledgeable reaction, thank you.
Going off the pig in 'Hi Ren' & the Animal Farm pig's 7 point manifesto, which you see on the wall in 'Animal Flow', I'd say Animal Farm runs through a lot of his work. 😁
There are some other buried references in here too: I can’t recall who it was but there’s that famous flow on t’s-ticking off the top of my tongue-that he extends on; and then in Hi Ren he discusses the pendulum from light dark, and when he says the weed hits and the pendulum starts slowing, I think he means his head is in a good place, not worrying about swinging to that dark side for now. Great reaction! Kid is fire.
And the the beat is from Ren as well as he's doing the beatboxing. He produces all his own stuff. I loved this song from the first few seconds I heard it.
Genesis and Power for more highlighting his rap skill, Bittersweet, Sick Boi, Chalk Outlines, How to be me all fire as well, and so much more, here for it.
Pretty new to rap and the sounds in this are mind blowing, especially right after he says ‘monster.’ Still Gives me chills despite playing it on repeat for a few days.
Fun reaction. I'm sure you'll have quite a few reactions that will share additional songs to check. I mean, that's in the comments from every single Ren rection out there. I'll leave it to the rap and hip hop experts to say which is the better to check out. For me, I like some old-school, so, I liked What You Want for that kind of thing.
The Hunger is the Frankenstein monster that Ren made to display all of the tools he will use to conquer the music world. The Hunger is his golden ticket! It's an incredible mastery of every aspect of rap.
3:12 the bit where he goes into rhyming with all the tongue twisting T's gotta be the toughest part of this Great react! his tune Genesis Is a good track too
I used to live with a rapper. Now, I was a white kid from England and I don't get rap/hip-hop. So here I am, living with a rapper from NY as I was working in the US. He would bust down my door at like 3am and be like "bro, you gotta hear this" and would proceed to do his thing. I still listen to his stuff in the car now and then, back in England, because he made me get it. That's what life is about; culture, experiences, inspiration and number 1? Eating other peoples bloody food.
I've watched a lot (and I mean a lot) of Ren reactions. I'm not knowledgeable about the nuances of rap, and your reaction was the first one that I feel like I actually learned something about the art. In turn, it made me appreciate Ren even more. Thanks so much for a great reaction.
He uses alot of vert smart words, especially with his issues and he tells those stories in Sick boi part one and part 2. Another one's is Seven sins. Also check out Losing it. He really spits in that. So many more. He is a great storyteller
Great reaction. Ren’s Hip Hop/Rap style songs are all worth checking out if you enjoy this genre; they are pretty amazing. Check out “Genesis,” “What You Want,” “Losing it (FISHER rap retake),” “Right here, right now (Fatboy Slim one shot retake),” "Life is Funny," “Love Music (Parts 1, 2, and 3),” “Crucify Your Culture,” “Power,” and his latest release, “Bittersweet symphony (The Verve retake).”
Yesss, super analysis, if you want to dig in his story telling, you MUST, yes must check, tale of Jenny and screeh, full version, thanks for the video.
Capitalist pigs” is a term most frequently attributed to stereotypical Soviet protagonists describing Americans, or perhaps fat hogs in suits and top hats representing greedy businessmen in political cartoons.
Please do sick boi if you haven't already. Then genesis is great for another rap track, and chalk outlines with chinchilla (live version) to show his vocal range!
I love how willing he is to pronounce a word wrong to fit the rhyme. A major Eminem homage. "Alpha Beeta delta" in moneygame where he says "pay rise" instead of pay "raise"
His videos usually are. Money game has outstanding camera work, and Violet's tale takes it to the next level with using the movement through rooms for effects and storytelling. Don't jump straight into Violet though, I made that mistake, start with Jenny then Screech and finish with Violet.
Ren is so good. Very much next gen Plan B. If you haven't reacted to Plan B it would be good to see you do one of his tunes. 'ill Manors' is fire, so is 'SIck 2 Def' or 'I Am The Narrator'❤

The more we see from him, the better it all is, but I will always be stuck on hi ren and the tale of jenny and screech. This is a pretty iconic set as well. In this song he went into that godzilla Eminem flow. Which obviously has been done but showing you can do it is an accolade in itself. As far as when rappers vocals are quieter than the beast is one of my biggest frustrations of all time but I didn't think that happened really here. My ears could catch his lyrics the whole time (not meaning I caught every lyric bit I could hear them at least lol)
The lads a genius I’m quite new to his stuff but he’s blown my mind how he can basically do most types of music plus play guitar and piano and to top it all off has major health issues that he juggles daily 🤯👌👌
The audio balance is often better on his actual music release than the music videos. I've been using Spotify to listen to Rens catalogue, so it could be worth you listening to the song on that while playing the video for your channel. You'll be able to hear him better.
I gag everytime I hear him say "jammin Django Reinhart" he was an edge cutting Austrian jazz guitar player wayyy ahead of his time. You have to check him out.

I love hearing his singing voice creeping into a few bars of this song, too. It's subtle but it's part of what makes it next-level IMO.

This dude makes me so proud to be from Brighton. This video was filmed 10 mins from my house 👌
Oh nice, that’s awesome
Love that he had the salute to Wales with the red and green smoke too. He seems very grounded to his roots.
We’ve all wondered where in the hell this location is, so have you been where he is doing this video!
I’ve never wanted to live in Brighton more 😂

This was good. You should check out the Artist/Reactor Knox Hill. He breaks it down to the minute detail very well.
What is exceptional is that he isn't just a rapper, he's a serious musician, good guitar, excellent pianist. Radical talent.
He usually put the lyrics to his songs in the description. Great reaction and insight. I think REN’s having fun in this one showing off his lyrical gymnastics.
Losing It is pure fun Ren but so well crafted it's insane.

This is certainly a fun flow, losing it and genesis are great too - but his vocal singing range is just astounding
