So you got it preprogrammed with 2 keys for about a 1000.00 . I did mine for 375 bucks I bought the win from Amazon for 225 buck got the keys for 40 I used alfaobd to get my pin number set it up programmed the two keys and I was done . If I had the 1000.00 I probably would have gone the same route but saving over 600 if you have the size is alot I believe the dealer is less then that .
What year was your truck? Would work on 2009? Early 4th generation
Nope, got it for 699 which included the $60 overnight shipping as stated in the bio 👍🏼 if it was the current price no way I would have paid 1K lol
@@tiagolopes8857 yea I have a 2011
You didn't give a full description of what all the symptoms were.. Did you just have trouble starting or did you lose all ignition including headlights blower motor and gauges?
What company or site did u use to order the new win module and keys
I'm in North Carolina I just bought one for $53
Can you describe the symptoms you were having with the one kid unit thanks
Sorry for the late reply!
I would turn the key, and the truck wouldn’t crank (no electrical or anything) I would hold the key in the on position for 20 seconds before the truck would finally start.
Also, the truck just completely turned off on me going down the freeway. (I don’t have a lot of junk on my keys so I just have the fob and a house key)
Since this video was posted I’ve had no issues what so ever 🤙🏽
i have a 2008 ram 3500 my win module sits ontop if ignition its not part if the key like urs but driving my truck and it just turned off when i turn the key power comes on cluster works ac works and all but turning my key does not turn fuel pump on and doesnt crank over the motor could it be this? i changed out the ignition switch and that didnt fix it
That’s pretty much what happened after my win module let go completely. Tried to start it again and power came on, ac everything. No start etc. I’d just double check fuel relays and everything else before saying that this is your exact issue. But that’s my experience man! 👍🏼
Howdy. I have a 2011 ram 2500 with the same problem. With the new win modular with the two keys do I have to get it programmed? Just out of curiosity. Thank you.
Hey! So with this company, all you do is send them your vin and it comes pre programmed. Got it in the mail, few minutes to install and truck fired right up. 1 year later, no issues 👍🏼
@@joshualecleir7588 okay cool. Thank you very much sir
So you skipped the coding and programming of the key
Used one from a town and country worked it’s dangling but I had no crank and works for 80$ 😂
You pay for it all, win module, comes with 2 keys already programmed and all you have to do is plug in and go! 👍🏼
How has it worked for you. Is it better quality then the OEM ?
Honestly, no problem at all so far. Quality is solid in my opinion.
Just went to web site and it is now on sale for $999.95
Yeah their prices are crazy now..
Is it the module that needs programming or just the new keys? My buddy got one with a married fob but his still won't start.
Keys and module need to be reprogrammed if you switch out one or the other. This one came with module and keys all married together so I didn’t have to do anything.
@Joshua Le Cleir my buddy just got one for his, used. But he has the key that's married to the win module. Put it in and she still won't start. He was able to clean the original and get it going for a bit. But she's toast now unfortunately. So I'm left wondering if that module needs some kind of programming. Cause I can program keys if that's all that's needed.
@Joshua Le Cleir I mean if the module don't need some kind of programming. Then I should be able in theory to use your working module and key on my truck... is my thoughts.
@Joshua Le Cleir you're right though, the module needs to be programmed with the ecms secret pin key. The same one used for programming new keys lol..figured it out. Thanks 👍
How do you reprogram the key fobs?
This company will send you two reprogrammed key fobs!
@@joshualecleir7588 the dealership charges me 693 out the door.
Count yourself lucky. Went to 5 dealerships around me and was quoted 500-700 just for the win module alone. And a two week wait time. I need my truck for work so this was the best option and I could do it myself rather than waiting on a dealership 👍🏼
And this was only $699 for win module, and 2x programmed key fobs.
@@joshualecleir7588 they are reusing the keyfobs
They want $1000 for this?! Not even the remote start one. Wtf
Yeah that shit went way up. After all taxes shipping etc, I paid like $650 lol
