Thanks for the video i was just thinking about switching over to synthetic clay what I kind of picked up through other people's videos is a car that has been taken care of pretty well and you just want to throw some wax on synthetic clay will do the job
I’ve used Griot’s products for over 2 decades. (Pronounced “gree-oos”) The best way to use the claybar is using the bonnet for your polisher. It obviously is easier on your hands and it removes more contaminants imho. To prep your paint for “ceramic” polish Griot’s makes a surface prep product. You MUST use a surface prep whenever you’re changing types of waxes/protectants. Ceramics are simply silicone that has been around about 5 years. Even tho Griot’s makes a ceramic, I prefer their Best Show Wax. It gives a much deeper shine. So deep that people waiting along side of me for the signal light to turn green will honk to get my attention and ask me what I’m waxing my car with. No I don’t work for Griot’s...just love their products. Also if you are unsure of what you need to take car of your “baby” simply call them....incredible customer service.
I think rolled up bread would work. When i was a kid my dad was helping me with math. He grabbed some white bread and rolled it in his fingers till it became like a dough and erased my pencil marks. He said they couldn't afford erasers when he was a kid and that is what his mom used as an eraser.

FYI Plumbers putty is the same stuff as clay bar but only cheaper
Really? Seems the texture isn't there unless it's a specific brand
Play dough is like clay, and you can eat it when you're done
@@RobDamanhe’s absolutely incorrect. I would highly advise against that advice.
no def not
@@sirbonkers5910 Been using it for years never had an issue
Put your hand in a zip lock bag when testing the panel. You can't feel anything with your hand.

Thanks for the tips
I find the synthetic leaves black marks on the paint from time to time
I've only encountered that when my spray liquid gets a little thin
Also another question would you ever recommend using both on different areas of the car like the front bumper
I used the red part backwards is that bad? Lol
bruh nah it just isnt going anything 🤣🤣
@@Sherbsky lol I redid it the right way

little life hack spread the clay on the sythentic clay spong 👍
Interesting theory but please stop calling it a life hack that saying makes people cringe.
